I'm a furry and found this fucking funny. We're so god damn sensitive. A minimal knowledge of law will tell you that you have no case. Subtrist's fanbase is not the same as the audience of a fursuit maker. Fursuit makers generally are absolutely awful at managing businesses and I really doubt that person makes any financial statements which would be needed to prove he's lost revenue, let alone prove that the lost revenue was directly as a result of Subtrist's actions. Furries need to learn to laugh at themselves and see the humour in things and move on. Threatening legal action over a youtuber messing about will make you look like an idiot. I seriously wish we would learn to laugh at the things that we do which are objectively funny and odd. Forcing people to observe you and say what you're doing is just totally normal and average breeds contempt. It sucks, but we can be a really, really highly strung group of people sometimes. Just look at twitter furries. Shit sucks. Nobody just relaxes and has fun anymore, it's all about gossip and drama most of the time.

as a moderator/administrator and owner for so many years in discord yes you can get banned without being actually in the server and they can use autolog (bot that can transfer audit server log into a channel) that means that even if you do change your name profile pic etc they will see it when your in the server but apperantly they didnt do the autolog

Out of curiosity; aside from the fact that I'd bet money on them not creating financial statements (which they'd need to prove that their business was financially impacted), wouldn't they also have a massively difficult time proving that even if they did have a year with lower income that it was as a result of Subtrist? Wouldn't an incredibly obvious and easy defence be simply showing that the audiences don't overlap?
