We also discovered late in the game that one rig was consistently getting more bites than any of our others. I later started referring to this as the "Mendota Rig." The Mendota Rig is great for lakes with thick vegetation. See how it's made here: • The "Mendota" Rig: A M...

Troy and his crew were a great bunch
Persistence pays off! It was awesome watching you guys cranking them in!
Awesome! Gotta love how hard channel catfish fight and how they taste fried!
Awesome video
Nice Job!
Great job guys
Kicking butt on the north end of the lake by the Nautigal where all the fish are at!!!
I have not caught a channel cat under ten pounda out of that lake in at least ten years. I've been hearing about quite a few over twenty pounds now and even one friend got a fish that went over 26 pounds last year from Tenney Park shorefishing.
I have been hearing about a lot of catfish caught on tip-ups ice fishing too but have never gotten one there.
We will likely be making a return trip next May. There's always room for another fisherman in my boat if you're interested.
Those were some good channels! I really hope I can make it up there next year!!
That would be great!
That was so fun to watch y’all catch that day! Is it time to go back yet??? Sooo much fun!!
I can't wait for next year! It's going to be a lot more fun now that we know how to properly target them.
Great fish, you going Memphis to cover the tournament this year?
I don't think I can get away this year, but if I can....
Hello! I like your video, you got a lot of catfish. can you tell me what is boat launch around the area you fish?
Thank you. The nearest boat launch to this area is probably one of the Wayne Fitzgerald ramps.
Do you see the same action in the fall time?
I would assume the fish turn on in the fall as well. They do locally. Lake Mendota is about 7 hours from me and we've only been there once so far.
