Fort Wilderness: Birthdays + Canadian Friends

Day #4 - We woke to celebrate grandpa's birthday. We met up with friends we met years ago on a Disney cruise. They traveled all the way from Canada with their 2 boys and got to spend some time catching up with us and our kids. It was even one of their birthdays, too! Wish the decorations around the fort were still up but we looped through many empty sites and found a few things with the Facebook Original Fort Wilderness Scavenger Hunt page. The kids loved to hide things we had for the hunt too! The pool was pretty empty today and it was nice weather with clouds to make it more tolerable than the recent scorching heat. We went to Trails End for lunch. The kids played on the playground. We rode around more campsite loops and then said our farewells. It was a great day. The kids miss their friends already.
