- Finally, been meaning to do this one for a long time. :) This is number 3 of the Dolce & Gabanna Anthology collection. Represented by Naomi Campbell in the commercials, this is the floral aquatic melon juice that I just LOVE!!!!

I just purchased this and I wore it to a birthday party and all I smelled was peach nectar lol and to top it off the cake was a peach filling cake. lol i like the smell very much. I don't pick up watermelon and I don't think it even has peach in it. anyways. i subscribed! I looooooove parfum so much. I have been on a perfume spree. But I'm going to take it easy as I just purchased 6 in two weeks. that's enough for summer here in California.

I blind bought this fragrance because so many perfume reviewers love it. I don't hate it, but will not repurchase after it's gone, to my nose it was a very boring watery watermelon peppery snoozefest. Very overrated, much like the model that is the spokesperson for it. Love your reviews, and have discovered some new fragrances I love because of them. ❣

Fred Trevino Yes I find it to be more of a clean smell than a "feminine" smell. I love it. Mine's all gone now though.
I think it has a lot of sweetness to it..... U keep saying it's tart and sharp and if I didn't smell or own it myself I wouldv steered clear. But it's juicy sweet not sugar sweet and the florals round it off v nicely. I love this. :)

Interestingly it smells just like guava on me
I don’t know if it’s just me but every time I smell this it smells to GUAVA to me and that’s why I love it I don’t get no kiwi 🥝 or 🍉 at all

I got the same smell! Guava! Reminds me of my childhood growing up eating them and had lots of them in my garden

i love that term "gender-bender" fragrance enthusiasts, thats how i am too. im going to buy gucci guilty for women coz it's just damn sexy and not overly feminine. i have #6 on this anthology line, nxt i wanna get is Le Bateuler, the aquatic of the bunch (blue juice)

Hey, I'm new to your channel. I really like your reviews so far. Really calm voice and really good description!! I have L'imperatrice (it's my signature the last years) and yours is the best description I've come across on youtube..sharp and fruity but in a sour way for me. Not smooth but not cloying either! Exactly!! I also just saw your videos on Elie Saab Le Parfum and Cerruti 1881. So I have a question. I'm thinking of blind buying either one of two (elie saab- le parfum, cerruti 1881) either La Femme-Hugo Boss (in the round bottle with a diagonal cut). Any of the three of them based on descriptions and notes are something I would like, but I'm not sure since I've not smelled neither. I'm usually into fruity, fresh or aquatics and florientals. I usually can't stand really sweet or strong perfumes. Would you suggest any of the three and if so which? Thank you in advance and sorry for the long comment! 😊
Thanks! and welcome! Of the three you mentioned I would go for Elie Saab, it's the freshest of the bunch. Cerrutti is very powdery. Elie is a lovely fresh orange blossom and to my nose...really classy! Good luck!

Hehe, I haven't smelled the Fortune one. Is that the purple one? I smelled the purple one and it was nice, but very weak. This one has a bit more kick. It seems to have gotten stronger over time too which is really cool. :)

I think they did an AMAZING job with this anthology (although I wish they had much better staying power). I love this fragrance, but what do you think of 18 (La Lune) and 10 (La Roue De La Fortune)? To me La Lune smells like what I somehow imagined Chanel No. 5 would smell like (glamorous, sparkling (before I actually wittingly smelled it in junior college)) and La Roue De La Fortune smells a bit like the original Ange Ou Demon mixed with bubblegum. Along with L'imperatrice they are my favorites.
+NoireFox The only other ones I have smelled are whichever one is the tuberose one? And it lasted all of 10 minutes on me, and then the Number 10, which I haven't quite figured out yet, I have a sample but have only smelled it once. I must smell it again actually. Ahhh just dug it out, hmm....it's vaguely sweet and non descript. Maybe a bit like black currant.
Does L'Imperatrice last well for you, because yes, you're totally right, while the others smell great, they don't last long, at all lol.
It was ok that one, I got a medium wear length out of it. It worked SO well in hot weather too. It stayed kinda clean and fresh. I really liked it.

i want to blind buy this scent because they don't sell the perfume here, i don't want citrus especially citrus dry down (like light blue, lanvin eclat and/or chloe love story) ..does this perfume is like one of those?
Jade Pelingon hello! Thanks!! Well the only one of those I have smelled is light blue and this is nothing like that. It is more aquatic than citrus. There are no citrusy notes in here. It is a crisp fruity fragrance. :)

Of course! It's not too sweet, but very fruity. Almost like an icy melon smell. it's very clean too. Just wear it if you like the smell.

To me smells like a shampoo
Yes it does, mainly because most shampoo's have molecules in them that smell like fruit. Fruit in perfume is never really real. This one smells like shampoos are fruit scented. :) It's fun!
