Enjoying these UA-cam diaries by Harry Metcalfe- the antithesis of the current style in TV car programmes, non-hysterical and informative yet interesting and engaging at the same time, no background music, no video effects, hyperbole nor tiresome metaphors- his production budget probably runs to the cost of a Sony compact camera in video mode, stuck to the inside of the car. And you get to hear the glorious sound of a Ferrari V12 engine.

It's so nice to be able to go along for the ride.... Thank you for taking the time to make this video! Taking a 1960 Ferrari to London! Does not get scarier than that!! Thanks for the great video, the car seems actually very cool!!

Between this and your 930 turbo you pretty much have my perfect classic garage.
I'm amazed at how beautiful the Ferrari looks even in 2017... It's basic but just looks so clean

Thanks Harry, reminded me of driving my old bosses 330 GT. His kids couldnt get rid of it fast enough when he passed and of course I couldn't afford the asking price (no discount offered for lowly employees) .Probably has become a garage queen now like so many of them have):

It's got a turning circle that would probably challenge a Land Rover Defender in its uselessness. That was funny.

2:45 Marble Arch Corner - I drove round this roundabout 10 minutes after the very first time I had driven a car on my own. I'd just picked up my company car a few weeks after passing my test and I had to drive round Marble Arch Corner in rush hour. It was a nerve-wracking start to my driving life. It seems to have got a lot easier since then.

7,000 to 9,000 rpm revs would wear any belts out thats why the belt service is so expensive. Standard cars don't reach 7,000 rpm on a good day. In theory, a Ferrari could be used everyday driven under 7000 rpm revs on daily normal driving. Thoughts?

My type of car....! The petrol gauge issue would be a priority fix (petrol tank level sender shorted out??) as I’ve ran out of petrol in my EType and with triple SU carbs they all got clogged up with debris ...!

A very elegant automobile.....a favorite of mine for sure.....and I’m not just saying that because Harry mentioned Enzo liked driving them himself🤨🤨🤨.....I just happen to have impeccable taste 😏🧐
It’s amazing to look back at the cars that were designed in the 1960s in Italy, America and Great Britain......many would consider it the best decade for pure design....E Type, Split Window Stingray, GTO.........the list would be (almost) endless

The Ferrari dream to me. Front engined carburetted V12. It's not about speed it's the experience, the sound, and the aesthetic beauty. Pity he sold it.

A friend of mine had a silver over black 330 GT like this in Ottawa, Canada. He bought it in 1977 for CA$14,000 and sold it to a Ferrari dealership in Toronto in 1989 for an undisclosed sum... but he got a new '89 328GTS and paid off his mortgage with the proceeds. He shoulda kept the 330.

use the odometer as the fuel gauge, 15 gals X 20 mpg = 300 mile range, if it has a trip odometer just reset it, otherwise take a picture of the mileage so you can get on with it without fuel worries, cheers

This car has me written all over it. Why did you sell this one? Maybe a lockdown video on all the cars you have owned and why you sold them? I know you did the one with the Zonda but I'm guessing your history goes much further back.

One of my favorite Cars, enzo had good taste,it was a tad underestimated but not with this boom,,useability is the new thing for car manufacturers to rediscover that and an involving drive,I had a 903 engined fiat 127 ,it rusted to bits, but up to that point it drove, steered fantastically, had a similiar interior style to this albeit in vinyl, would run at 90 mph fab engine, it was so good you forgot you where in a box on wheels, I guess what I'm saying,is if this Ferrari dream is out of reach get an Alfa,if that's out of reach get an old fiat.

Sticking fuel gauge is not what you need in a 12 cylinder car on Weber’s at 125mph.😂

Harry seems to be rough with his cars. He's slammed the doors a bit too hard on all his cars. From getting in turning the key, etc there is an alarming lack of smoothness and grace.
