Medicine Hat is a city in southeast Alberta, Canada. It is approximately 169 km east of Lethbridge and 295 km southeast of Calgary. It is the sixth-largest city in Alberta.

Coming from SK that east entrance was familiar as we often stopped there before continuing to Calgary....think I'll make The Hat a "Vacation Destination" next summer....thanks for the video !

I lived in med hat 1996 until 2010. I owned the Vern's Pizza.

@cookinghard1 no way! My Dad would always get us pizza there when we were kids. Hope you are doing good!
I lived there from 1995 to 2018 off and on. I remember going to the comics and games store, Readers, right next to Vern's, and getting a slice or two to eat while playing Dungeons and Dragons. Your pizza was great. It was loaded with toppings. like an inch and a half high of meat.
Your pizza was a part of my teenage years and early 20s and it's wild seeing your comment on a random UA-cam video.
@ways2wander You were there at the 8-minute mark in your video. If you had not turned left, but gone straight you would have been at the old Vern's pizza property.

i am working on a project, did you see much for homeless population ??
We didn’t notice that there are homeless people in the Medicine Hat when we went there, unlike other cities we’ve been to where you can see them everywhere. Maybe we just didn’t pass a street of those? Not sure.
Maybe a bit less than elsewhere in AB but we do see them quite a bit. There's a program for them so they do have shelter offered but are still in the street. there's a drug problem and they are in the little park downtown.
Is Cypress college a real school in medicine hat or a fraud?? Anyone ever heard of it? It's supposed to be a culinary school 😢

@@ways2wander I have been checking their website but unlike other schools, they do not have much information. No virtual campus tour, well detailed information about them and when you type the name, usually another Cypress in USA pops up and you'd have to use the logo to identify. That's why I'm having my doubts about it.

There are small colleges in Canada that do not have much things to see online, but they do exist, and can still help you get into the labor market, just like big colleges can do.

Yes, there are definitely lots of jobs. But it depends on the kind of job you’re looking for. 😊

@@Alchemy_life Yes, it's affordable. But it still depends to what kind of home you're looking for. You can rent a house as a price equivalent to just renting an apartment, and it would be much cheaper to rent a basement suite.
