  • Super fast track with a lot of long corners which require a 'good aim'. If you miss the perfect turning in point you will be late on getting on the power, which is important to avoid. Here's a track guide to help out with that!

    I was chasing your ghost last night, i'm not too far off it but tbh it's my first time on this track this way round, i seemed to be catching your ghost entering onto the bridge but then you seem to get a get a good exit after the bridge. cheers for the guide DD.

    Beautiful lap. So satisfying to watch how close you come to the walls.

    Nice work there. Showed me I wasn't far off on what i was doing. Kept feeling that I was losing time coming onto that last straight before the last turn. I guess the McLaren shows it's understeering about the same as the Ferrari there. Have to do like a half or quarter lift to keep the car out of the grass. Looking for a positive experience here as the 650s gr4 feels very strong, even without the slipstream.

    In a lobby, with race setting applied, I was only able to get a 2:20. In the practice I was a 2:18. RS tires only last about 4 laps. I'm using the Jag.

    Slight typo in the title: it says Gr. 3 car instead of Gr. 4 car. Other than that, very helpful guide.

    I'm definitely enjoying the increased amount of videos on your channel. When are you going to be hitting the track again for some RL GT3 races?

    • @DavidPerel
      @DavidPerel  4 роки тому +1

      Only in April mate, long time!

    • @gdoumit

      Wow that’s a long break from racing. It’s no wonder you’re playing more. Need to stay sharp! You should consider something similar to what SuperGT and Kie25 do with their channels. Consider hosting some races as a way to interact with your channel followers. I think it may be a great way to boost your followers a bit. It’s always great fun to get on the track with a real racing driver. Anyway, thanks for the reply and enjoy your long vacation!

    Do you play around with brake bias at all during the lap?
    I noticed Lewis Hamilton playing with all possible settings (diff, bb, power delivery etc) even in between corners sometimes, but I never see anyone doing that in sim racing.

    • @DavidPerel
      @DavidPerel  4 роки тому

      In real racing, especially F1 and LMP1, it necessary. But in sim racing the cars are more linear and it’s not really ever necessary in GT Sport. In real life we tweak brake bias and TC a lot more, but nothing like F1.

    Sainte-Croix isn't really that popular, I've never seen it in daily races when I watch one of my subs streaming.
    Might want to edit the title, it says Gr.3 while the car used is Gr.4.

    Cars with low tire wear will be best for this race aka Trophy...

    Hey Dave does it matter what brand of tires that you use in the game do you think

    • @DavidPerel
      @DavidPerel  4 роки тому +2

      It’s about the compound. Hard = slower but last longer and Soft = faster but don’t last as long

    • @lonniekane2036
      @lonniekane2036 4 роки тому

      David Perel Right I know that I was just wondering about does it matter on the brand

    • @DavidPerel
      @DavidPerel  4 роки тому +1

      In GT Sport it doesn’t matter

      @@lonniekane2036 I'm assuming you're talking about when you change the tire decal in the livery editor, in which case, that is purely cosmetic. It doesn't actually change anything.
