The gardens look good AND there seems to be NO litter there, plants wise they could only use those that can put up with salty air. Glad you both enjoyed your trip
What a lovely place and such a great idea transforming it from a barren piece of land into a lush nature area. Some of those plants were really unusual and fascinating, thanks for taking us on a tour around . There’s so much diversity in Tenerife and I think it would be good to combine a stay in the south with a couple of nights in the north just for a change.

We are in the hotel isabela.my first holiday for 6 years .here with my youngest son and his family .we are the hughes .chris .joan.son and daughter in law paul and gen.with isabelle and noah . One of your best ! I loved that area The beach there is good too with lots of free parking and the drive further east is really stunning towards San Andres and up over the tree covered mountains
Paid this little gem of a place a visit 6 years ago. It started off as a land fill site. It's called the Palmetum. It is divided in to the 5 different continents, and each area contains palm trees from each continent. I hope to see it again in June, and hopefully the flowers on the trees will be in bloom. It was late October when I visited the Palmetum, and all the trees had lost their blossoms at that stage.

@@TheKnightStrider They are cold and it gets busy. But it is great place to sunbathe and swim. Parque Maritimo water park is definately worth an afternoon out when hot.
