The how you die thing got me thinking... would knowing how you die inadvertently make you live longer? Say you’re supposed to die in a car crash. But if you know the date that you’re supposed to die you could just hide in your house all day and then the death wouldn’t happen. So then you would actually be given a later date as the date of your death because in a timeline where you were given the date of your death as the car crash that information would now be incorrect since you were able to avoid it. All without the present you knowing at all. So then your death would actually end up being natural causes, because if something preventable were to be the cause the knowledge of knowing what date it’s supposed to happen on would be enough to avoid it. Anyway it’s 12 am and I’m going to bed but thoughts to ponder am I right?
It's a thought provoking paradox. If no gives the specific details of the "How you die", picking the "When" is best. But if there's also a specific rule for the "When you die" like the when you die, there will always be an unseen phenomenon that will make you die or the "How you die" where that thing that will kill you will even come to you like it has a homing system.
Like in the movie. U can avoid all you want but you better keep running from death forever until physically impossible to escape accidemt anymore. Final Destination. Just to know when is enough for me, live everyday fullest.

I think a better question would be "would you rather CHOOSE when you die or how" because that sparks the question of potentially delaying death by making the how convoluted (say, stabbed to death by a Jamaican clown with a spoon) and then learning jiu jitsu (to protect yourself from the spoon clown). The absurdities lend themselves much better to conversation imo
But I mean if you choose that you're gonna die because of that Jamaican spoon clown, no matter what you learn or do, you'll still die by the Jamaican spoon clown. If you can deny it, then that means that you never really chose to die that way meaning that the way you die is gonna be completely different which in turn means you wasted your choice by picking "how" you're gonna die. If I chose that option I'd chose a fast and painless death and that's it lol
