Kobe Bryant (30pts/8asts/3 For OT) vs. Knicks (2005)

- Kobe Bryant thrives in the post against Jamal Crawford by spreading the ball around with some good reads and reaching into his bag of tricks for tons of provoked shooting fouls. Bryant's game-tying 3-pointer also closed out a 14-2 run the Lakers had in the last 1:24 to force overtime. You can find that whole comeback by searching for "Lakers Force OT After Down 12 with 84 Secs Left vs. Knicks". February 28, 2005.
To all the people who say kobe didn't trust his teammates at the end of games here's why. Example "luke walton"
niegel kelly Luke Walton only played in NBA because of daddy Walton
Luke Walton as a player = 🗑🚮
Luke Walton as a coach= 🗑🚮
Kobe stumble with the ball.
Honestly that was Kobes fault. He bobbled the pass and had a layup but for whatever reason dribbled it out. One of the only times he lost track of time, then he took it out on Luke Walton
@aaronwin33 @christiansamaroo he's not expecting to get the ball back, he was looking to rebound after creating an open shot for Walton
Walton had the perfect opportunity for a super easy floater. I was at that game btw sitting right behind Kobe. It was crazy. I didn’t know Kobe had the craziest potty mouth haha.
Do you remember what he said when he yelled ay Luke? 😂
Ironically, this wouldn't be the last time that Kobe gave the ball to Walton who failed to shoot in crunch time, also did something eerily similar vs Cleveland in their Sunday afternoon ABC game on 1-27-2008. I remember it like it was yesterday.
This is my favorite kobe game of all time, i finally found it!
One of the craziest comebacks I ever witnessed live!!Lakers had no business coming back in this game & Kobe with a cold blooded 3 for OT!!!

How does this video not have more views??? INSANE footwork, technique and IQ on display here not to mention I have never seen that clutch shot at the end of regulation before. Great stuff
kobeisalwayscool Kids would rather see highlights of players pull up for 3 pointers all the time & not look at actual technical skill.
Who else came here after Gil’s short ?😂
Me lol. Please look at the move Kobe does at 1:16 and 2:16 They label that the KD swing through move but you can clearly see that Kobe was doing this before KD was in the NBA. So who really started this move 🤔
Kobe gave Luke the ball at the perfect time and he was afraid to shoot it
No, Luke was being covered by 2 defenders and made smart pass to Kobe who was open under the rim. Kobe stans really believe he could do no wrong, delusional.
@@TheEloka123 not a Kobe stan but with the comment you just made I'm sure you're a Bronsexual
@@TheEloka123so we really gonna act like the shot blocker wasnt on his back and lukes shot wasnt waaay more opened than kobe was when he passed it back
Kobe sporting the beard.
Who else is here because of Gilbert Arenas' story?
what story?
Me hahaha
Lmfao
What’s hilarious is that Walton made the right play - Kobe just dropped the ball. I understand the frustration given the comeback required to put them in that position, but Luke’s pass was the right move.
@@john_costellothat was all on Kobe. First he dropped the pass then he dribbled the ball out when he still had enough time to at least gather the ball up to make a layup attempt. Luke Walton was trash but this was all Kobes fault
Kobe was jacked here man..
I miss Kobe :(
It’s still so surreal he died man I can’t accept his death for some reason
First time ever getting to see Kobe play live. RIP.
first time I am seeing this, great work!
Why the fuck did Walton pass the ball back to Kobe?
Why is that game tying 3 never shown anywhere ? And it's at the Garden!
And look.at Ariza with the Knicks haha. 4 years later he would win a title with Kobe
Gotta love villain kobe
RIP Mamba 😞
context is everything
5:56 Man Kobe was super pissed on that last possession.
Given that Luke dare not to shoot, Kobe should have driven to his right the last possession, leaving him the entire right side for him to go to work.
Kobe couldn't drive right. His defender is in perfect position to draw an offensive foul if he goes right. Kobe saw that the dude opened his hips up leaving the left driving lane open and made the only viable move he could make in that situation.
Trevor Ariza was still a knick at this time😁
I can understand Kobe’s frustration. If you don’t shoot the shot, you miss the opportunity for the win. He couldn’t shoot with no time and a double team so he gave it to Walton.
Yea I remember Kobe was pissed at luke the end of the game
I bet Kobe and the Lakers jumped Luke Walton after the game
And this my friends is the day Kobe Bean Bryant said..... fuck this, now you know why I dont pass! Lol Luke walton blew it lol
lmfao Luke Walton.
