Knicks @ Lakers, February 16, 2003 | Fifth straight 40+ point game by Kobe and 9th consecutive game with at least 35 points. Despite another 40-pointer by Kobe, it would be Allan Houston who'd steal the show with a career high 53 points to lead the Knicks to victory.

His footwork is second to none
Herman Bhullar His offense is second to none haha
Durant?? I mean Jordan i get it, but prime Kobe would've murdered Durant. He had more weapons than Durant has
BLACKYZ92 Durant does have a height advantage. Pound for pound, Kobe absolutely obliterates KD. Like you said, more moves in that arsenal.
TOTALLY. Especially in 2003 before the knee surgery... I think he had the best footwork during that year that the NBA has ever seen. It's indescribable how effortless and balanced he was, no matter how he moved or who defended him.
@@eskimo289 people forget after 2006 and up. He played injured basically the rest of his career... Whether it was his finger or knee or ankle.. And he still was one of the greatest scores.. What if he was never injured. Hmmmm🤔
Played in pain never complained definition of a true nba-legend goat 5x
this is awesome man Ive never seen this game before! 03 was one of the best season for kobe individually! beast!!
His best season imo. This was Allan Houston revenge for what kobe did in the Garden that year
Yea he was a monster that season
Idk why but Kobe body is so original
Should've gotten the MVP this season.
Was going to like but didn’t for obvious reasons
Facts nobody like
I miss Kobe so much
THE GOAT
Dropping 40 on a bum knee. GOAT.
Kobe wearing the Jordan 8's...RIP LEGEND#24#8
If this doesn't show you that Kobe is top 3 of all time, you're just hating.
Great highlights and replays. I would like to more video 2002 -03 season, rare games
At the height of his powers Kobe was forced to use bums like smush parker and chris mihm. Lebron has had wade, bosh, ray allen, kyrie Irving and Kevin love. And still will never be the black mamba! Long live the G.O.A.T.!
03 was his physical peak. Who knows what would have happened if his knee didn't get fucked up and he didn't have any off court issues. It took him 2 seasons to get back to his flow. His 03-04 and 04-05 seasons were good but not up to his standards. That's literally 2 seasons worth of prime athletic mamba we were robbed off.
Kobe in 04 and 05 was individually an absolute beast on the court. Recording triple doubles, dunking on so many players while raining buzzer beaters and game winners. Team success was not up to his standards, but individually he was still unstoppable on the court.
Rare but good! Damn I remember this game
Sprewell always playing Kobe over aggressive
Bro is it possible to get more 2003 Kobe in HD?? There's not much out here. It's all poor video quality. This is beautiful.
HD didn't become the standard for NBA games until 2007 or 2008 I believe. Before that only a select few games would be in HD.
Meanwhile Houston has 53
Haven't heard a word here about it
There's a whole highlight of his points
I watched this live
@4:16 das fucking mj right there
Kobe wearing Jordan's = numbers on the board
2:31
2:21 Wanksta background music. Kobe's defenders are "wankstas".
RIP to Kobe and Steve "Snapper" Jones
why kobe do spree like that? dayum.
4:24 Mandela effect proof "staples"
Nike Needs to release these Jordan 8’s as a GR
7:09 why was the assist given to Kobe when he didn't touch the ball that possession?
Lol Kobe dropped 40 the day I was born
No one is touching 2005-06 Kobe, only peak MJ was overall better than this guy imo
Allan Houston really dropped 53 tho? Lmao
yeah Allan Houston was nice
Houston almost won New York a title. He was for real.
Think what if Allan Houston joined Kobe backcourt would be lit
Man the commentators were boring, matt devlin doesn’t even know what hes seeing his reactions are so mundane
So what was the purpose of showing him getting outscored by Houston and lost
