Great video. On HARMONY I use my magnetic hooks on shower ceiling to hang wet stuff drip dry.

Sheri, thank you for all your videos! You have made us a believer in packing cubes. Used them for the first time on our last cruise a couple weeks ago. What a difference it made in packing and keeping our room organized! We will never travel without them again!!!

I love using packing cubes and magnetic hooks to hang everyone's medallion, hat, and my boys sunglasses. I find it necessary to have a neat area where everyone keeps the things they must have as they walk in or out of the stateroom. What I found we needed on our last princess was a container for all of my younger son's swag he got in the kids club. He came home nightly with hats, crowns, pirate gear, stuffed animals and art projects! He had a blast but his things were everywhere! I think a collapsible bin from the dollar store would have made a great "toy bin" of sorts.
On our recent Symphony of the Ses cruise, my husband and I actually extra storage! We loved the 2 closets!
For shoes, my daughter came up with an awesome solution-- the shelf under the TV! Slip them in vertically!
I was surprised to read on the fridge that's its a cooler, not a fridge!

My mom and I have always gotten Great Suites so there's a lot of room to unpack and we really want to make use of it all. It's a strangely different kind of struggle to use all of it vs not having enough! Haha. One tip I recommend is using suitcases for dirty clothes. The closets in the grand suite are huge and even with all of our items hanging up we still have space for our two larger suitcases to stand up inside. I, at least, prefer this method over the laundry bag because the clothes are already in the suitcase when it comes time to pack. I just unzip the cloth liner, spread the dirty clothes flat in there and zip it back up. No sorting or extra steps when it comes to the dreaded pack up day.

Hi Sheri this was a great video. We use the packing cubes too and I find it is so easy to leave most of the clothes in them. I also bring a folding shoe holder that we put shoes but also curling iron little purse water shoes etc hanging in our closet.

Thanks. Nice organization. I have to get better. We need magnets as hubby has about 4 caps and I have long necklaces about too many 😀. I was thinking of buying a small handheld makeup mirror. You are so neat.
My the rooms are small but you guys are well organized but with two teenagers that I have we definitely are going to have to do a suite or a Jr. suite when we do are first cruise next year
You could also try connecting smaller rooms. Not sure if the cost ends up being better, but if your teens are old enough to be on their own (and trustworthy) it would be a great way to get them their own beds, space, and keep their mess away from your mess. I've seen several families opt for this, even with smaller kids.

I always wonder when parents have alone time when the have kids in the cabin. My family never leave their kids in the juniors activity area.
Our room attendant already had a card in place for us to use when we were on Harmony

I love all the drawers- we went on an Alaskan cruise on the Norweigan Bliss in September and it had shelves but no drawers. I use packing cubes too, but my dad who I was traveling with doesn't, so his things became quite cluttered.
How did you go shopping between your flight and boarding- do you rent a car, were you close enough to walk or did you simply take a car service? I need way more sunscreen than I can pack in a carryon.
I remember in another of CTTV's videos they reported buying sunscreen in the hotel shop. Not sure about the liquid hand soap.

Hi there, just watched this video and have a question about the bathroom. I see there is a dispenser in the shower labeled "hand and body soap" so is that pre-filled? Or do we need to fill that? Your feedback is appreciated....86 days to sailing for us! Thanks!
The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash/gel is pre-filled...in the shower...it comes comp. for the room...this is cheaper for the cruise line than all those little mini bottles that used to be in the bathroom...as people would grab them every day...and have to be re-filled all the time!

Hey Sheri! Another awesome vid...thank you! I'd be curious as to how RCCL translates to their other subsidiaries, namely Celebrity. While we're not likely to cruise with Royal due to the family-centered nature of cruising, I'm curious as to any "carry-overs" from them to their Premium-line product. Have you guys come across anything suggesting anything along those lines?
I've cruised 5 times on Royal and once on Celebrity. We really didn't notice any carry over from Royal to Celebrity. They don't feel like the same company at all
