About Antoine, you also forgot that he could throw plates at you and literally grab you and forcefeed you the human food too. Doing so does a LOT of damage, and will cause Chuck to start throwing up as well afterwards. Combined that with him running off and eating while you are throwing up, or possibly having a nearby zombie interrupt your attempts to throw up and getting chewed by them (followed by more throwing up making a vicious loop, probably interrupted by Antoine throwing plates at you because he healed himself to full health while you were getting eaten). You didn't give Antoine enough credit for how obscenely cheaty he is. Add on top like all DR bosses you are on a time-limit, he could possibly outlast you, causing him to vanish just as you are finally getting close to killing him.
@@cluelesslawdamercyruthless6865 pretty much everything about it: the save/load He frequently uses, no battle box, you never get a turn, he ends the fight by killing you over and over and over. Of course we have to cheat back with the buttons mid fight and turning his souls against him. But still.
I can't really remember but, the robots are color coordinated so that if they're blue than Batman can hit them and if they're red then only Catwoman can hit them. I don't remember about Riddler's mech but once again thats not cheating its just tedious and annoying, much like The Riddler himself.
Jane talking about chefs eating humans 2 days after a zombie apocalypse, I think Jane is wondering why they wait until after the zombie apocalypse, why not now? Why not yesterday?
Well the girl hitting you with the bat hits with enough strength to launch people 20 meters away from her. So yeah, she just hits harder then small explosions.
SPOILERA FOR UNDERTALE. ALSO A COMMONT OF ANOTHER BOSS. In undertale, Omega flowey destroyes your save file and loads his/hers to keep killing you without you actually respawning.
You forgot the part where when you "beat" him and he just reloads a save where he's at full. Then the brutal murder fest insues until the souls you spent the whole battle calling out to decide they don't want an eternity of photosynthesis and cell walls so they rebel.
The one I saw had the guy knock it down to just short of 2/3 and then crit the Heart. He also had a pair of Jesters putting solo on his chosen character.

No need to oneshot it. Just kill it before it's turn. I used a hound master, a Hellion and a Bounty Hunter. hound master marked and stacked minor bleed. Hellino stacked loads of bleed and Bounty Hunter crit for about 94. Then the remaining bleed killed it upon it's turn.
Darkest Dungeon broke me a little. I have this elite team, with all unique items and I don't want to play any more... knowing the game will just drive them insane or kill them with some bullshit move!
Just solo the boss with 1 hero or just stack modifiers and buffs and get boss just before the first treshold before you need to choose victim and one shot it.
Was probably channeling the energy he had in Spyro's adventure, where beating him required to game to not give you a billion spell cycles in a row and not kill off your strong skylanders.
Personally I'd like to call out the Chainsaw guys in any Resident Evil game ever. They aren't even really a boss and they still can kill you with one hit if you aren't paying attention. Some people get scared of the sounds of the regenerators from RE4? When I hear a chainsaw revving in any RE game that's when I started to get scared shitless.
Altoryu What's worse than one? When those two sisters come after you in RE4. In RE5, I handed AI Sheva the Rifle and lead that one guy around while she plinked him. I did take a couple shots when he staggered, but I kept *really* far away.
Hearing that sound and knowing that if you screw up, you'll be beheaded in an instant makes me nervous as hell. Plus in until RE6 (from memory) you had no way to aim and move so you had to stop then turn and shoot and keep running all whilst making sure you don't run into a corner or a wall. Not to mention when you have to deal with RE's idiot AI so if they screw up it's game over for you as well.
those guys suck for sure but... the fucking reapers scare me more, mutant freaking cockroach that i wouldnt be surprised to see replace lickers and hunters as BOWs in future games...
Some people are commenting that the video ended abruptly. Guys, this was cleary done intentionally to futher Mike's cause to hire assistants to help out with stuff.
Jane’s right. If the lightsaber attack was realistic it would have instantly cauterized the wound, leaving a bifurcated but bloodless guard corpse by the door.
Not really. If the light saber was realistic, having a plasma heated to the degree it could cut through material almost instantly would cause the water in the guys body to explode. I don't remember the exact temperature, but at a certain point the water will explode. So no cauterization of wounds, but the guy turns into a fine red mist.

Most of the bosses could be considered "cheating" because they completely turn typical Turn Based RPG mechanics we've come to know & accept on their head. Hell, the only reason you beat Sans is because you yourself break established TBRPG norms & attack twice in one turn
Andrew McCleary no it makes a big show of him coming back to life like a jrpg second form boss. Like 5 whole seconds , now if he did an instakill move that affects 95% of the board at random half a second after his first death that would be cheaty
Really? Because I found something in the files called deleting but besides that, no you can not, my friend used to think that if you did neutral enough pacifist is possible.
well, you technically can, there are 2 versions of true pacifist, the normal one, and "tinted pacifist" in which if you stay with toriel, in the scene where she walks into your room to give you cake, your face suddenly become's chara's before the game ends. choose to leave, and the photo at the end instead has everyone's faces x'ed out, with chara replacing the player, again the game ends afterwards.
I have been waiting for so long for someone to point out that Sans isn't threatening because of his strength - he's actually the weakest in the game - he just breaks literally every rule you've been playing by prior to that point.
Darkrai in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: explorers of time/darkness/sky. Not only has his plot kept you from evolving yourself and your partner, he tricks Palkia into trying to destroy you, then tries to hypnotize you, and when you finally get to fight him, he summons a bunch of powerful Pokémon to back him up, all while you have to protect Cresselia, who can’t use reviver seeds and who’s defeat is an instant loss.
This one is a bit hard to talk about as everything from the boss' name to how they cheat is a spoiler. Let me put it this way, Paper Mario TTYD, Chapter 4, certain ghost in a bedsheet, what happens when you win. (Read more for the spoiler version) In Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door's Fourth Chapter you fight the boss early on who takes on the form of a shadowy version of Mario during the fight. As soon as you beat him the chapter "ends" but then the camera fades back in to reveal what actually happened. The boss has stolen your identity and your ENTIRE party. You now play as Mario's shadow for a while to try and find the ghost's weakness. You can't leave the area until you do and everything is harder without your party. And then you fight him with your party members on his side. The stronger you made them the harder the fight can be.
@James Toomer: It's just a shame that, even if you go out of your way to beat all of your allies before beating the boss, that fight's still extremely easy. The concept, music, & atmosphere are amazing.
There really isn't much in TTYD that's particularly hard (the ending can be if you don't use Danger strats) but it's still an enjoyable experience all the way through. The game gets by a lot on it's atmosphere and mechanics but doesn't provide much of a challenge. It's kind of a "beginner's RPG" in a good way.

In the game "yo kai watch 2: psychic specters", in the "blasters" gamemode, the final enemy, "Hinozall", once reaching half health, will do a healing attack, healing himself to full health. Luckily you can stop it, but he also starts summoning friends to help him, all for some stupid 300 currency.
It's not a well enough known game, but Tales Of Vesperia (Definitive Edition) during the colosseum fights when you face off against Killer of Heroes he can pop his ult at anytime you use an item. That includes if you stop time to give yourself some breathing room.
What about Demyx from Kingdom Hearts 2? If making us do than stupid time trial in the beginning wasn't enough, he can then suddenly force you into a 10 second version that auto-kills you if you fail. If I ever have to hear "dance water dance" again...
I haaaated that time trial so much I tried to do everything but go to that battle until maybe I was a high enough level not to kill him instantly but because grinding was so much more fun than his fight.
and i get that but it wasnt cheap. You had plenty of time to react and deal. The data one however, didnt give you alot of time. That was 10 seconds for 99.
smashmallow101 He pits you against Shadow Lugia, which I’m pretty sure he owns, and then fights you with his six party Pokemon. Four out of those seven are legendaries.
Well, to be fair, Sans is trying to save everyone, and after sleeping all the time, and hardly ever doing anything, he not only saved his power, but definetly felt determined to kill you. Also, the best part about sans is the character is able to dodge because when the game resets, he dosen’t. Much more lore.
How about Sundowner from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance? The man not only has fancy (and explosive) shields, but fights you on a helipad with attack choppers firing missiles at you, hits you with poles, summons minions, and on top of all of that he orders the helicopters to blast you off the roof! At least Sam had the decency to fight one-on-one!
I can'r remember, but I know in KOF 99.. Christ.. THAT dude.. I forget his name. This guy was a bloody nightmare! Not to mention in I think it was KOF 11.. never in my life, did I want to break something, than Orochi.
Let's be fair here. Any boss from Bloodborne or Dark Souls is actually fair. You just have to take into consideration that Gascoigne has personal problems according to his lore. Also you can basically "cheat" the fight yourself if you use the Music Box during Gascoigne's fight. So it's really not a cheaty boss at all.
@Fa Mulan Or you could just dodge lmao, which this guy did not

oh, there's one dark souls boss i know of that's really unfair...i forget the name, it's the giant tree monster that destroys parts of the floor! and falling through the floor is instant death! a VERY dirty trick!
Okumura from Persona 5 uses TWO cheap boss tactics. First, he sets a time limit for the boss battle, because the ship will self destruct in a few minutes. Then, he sends in a thousand minions to waste the time you have. Ironic that a businessman would be so cheap.
Kyra King Actually, in their non-list videos they talk a lot about how they got capture for various list features and if any clips weren’t theirs, they would credit who the clips were from. Besides, we already know that some of them have played Undertale, so it’s not unreasonable to assume that they got the capture themselves.
Super Saiyajin 4 Ultimate Papyrus Uhh I beg your pardon? even Undyne the Undying (The genocide route Undyne) was harder than Omega Flowey. Omega Flowey was so easy and his attacks so feeble that I didn't lose any sleep beating him up.
Soul Master from Hollow Knight comes to mind. Not only does he do a self destruct beserk mode after he dies, he does a self destruct beserk mode after he dies, and pretends to drop an item!
Psycho Mantis cheats by reading your mind (I.E. your controller imputs), so he is impossible to beat until you, in real life, unplug your controller and plug it back into the second controller slot. He also reads your system's memory card, with unique dialogue if you have certain games saved, and will use the rumble feature to make your controller move.
It saddens me you killed the highwayman in the heart of darkness fight. If it was Dismas and Reynauld who survive the heart, you get an achievement not many have.
The Hag and Siren from Darkest Dungeon also need some honorable mentions here. One throws a random character in her cauldron, so you have to choose between saving them and attacking her. The other mind-controls your characters to fight on her side. Honestly, it would probably be quicker to list the bosses in that game who don't use some radically unfair tactic.
There was this one boss in Mario and Luigi dream team that kept sleeping to get infinite health. It was an annoying ass of a boss cuz it took too long and the first time trying him I had no idea how to beat him.
An old and obscure one but definitely one that deserves a mention in this category is the final boss of Beyond Good and Evil. It's a one-eyed Domz monster that is a difficult opponent for the most part of the fight, but completely throws the kitchen table at you when, at the end it... *Reverses the FUCKING controls*
smashmallow101 While that is cheating... I used the most deadly cheat of all metabuilding so that I could 1-shot everything on his team! Majestic dragon vs... shellfish. Alduin would laugh at such a notion, but... he's never gotten Ice Beamed by a Cloyster.
Metal Gear Rising Revengance Monsoon, the fact the he can separate his limbs from his body with the help of magnets, means that you are unable to hit him just because. It's not that he is too far away or has a shield up, no he just straight up seperates his body accordingly with your slashes
What about omega flowey? He DESTROYS Your save file, And uses it for himself and teleports you and doesn’t allow you to attack properly or heal properly

You didn't give Antoine enough credit for how obscenely cheaty he is. Add on top like all DR bosses you are on a time-limit, he could possibly outlast you, causing him to vanish just as you are finally getting close to killing him.
he is also the only one that can heal.

Maniacman2030 Yeah after knowing that little surprise was waiting I just preferred to take my chances with the Giant instead.
those guys suck for sure but... the fucking reapers scare me more, mutant freaking cockroach that i wouldnt be surprised to see replace lickers and hunters as BOWs in future games...

Jane’s right. If the lightsaber attack was realistic it would have instantly cauterized the wound, leaving a bifurcated but bloodless guard corpse by the door.
...which is why Star Wars movies are ok for kids

Not really. If the light saber was realistic, having a plasma heated to the degree it could cut through material almost instantly would cause the water in the guys body to explode. Dragon souls do refill our health, but only by a small amount. It depends on how strong the dragon you killed is.
Sans is a really cheaty boss yet he is still one of the most liked characters in that game. Hmmmmmmm
Darkest Dungeon does have a rare town event to let you pick a hero to restore to life.
Also there is a possibility to finish without losing the characters.

When I saw undertale being listed, I kinda expected undyne the undying to be there. I mean, she did kinda cheat death.
Most of the bosses could be considered "cheating" because they completely turn typical Turn Based RPG mechanics we've come to know & accept on their head. Hell, the only reason you beat Sans is because you yourself break established TBRPG norms & attack twice in one turn
The Mega Satan fake death in the binding of Isaac was also pretty cheat-y.
Andrew McCleary no it makes a big show of him coming back to life like a jrpg second form boss. Like 5 whole seconds , now if he did an instakill move that affects 95% of the board at random half a second after his first death that would be cheaty

@@jenniferbunting4708 people have tried doing that but it adds it back in
well, you technically can, there are 2 versions of true pacifist, the normal one, and "tinted pacifist" in which if you stay with toriel, in the scene where she walks into your room to give you cake, your face suddenly become's chara's before the game ends. choose to leave, and the photo at the end instead has everyone's faces x'ed out, with chara replacing the player, again the game ends afterwards.

This one is a bit hard to talk about as everything from the boss' name to how they cheat is a spoiler.
Let me put it this way, Paper Mario TTYD, Chapter 4, certain ghost in a bedsheet, what happens when you win. (Read more for the spoiler version)
In Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door's Fourth Chapter you fight the boss early on who takes on the form of a shadowy version of Mario during the fight.
James Toomer Rawk Hawk tries to poison you with a cake so you lose the match before the championship bout.

The Hag and Siren from Darkest Dungeon also need some honorable mentions here. One throws a random character in her cauldron, so you have to choose between saving them and attacking her.
