That Allen wake is like kingdom hearts is so disingenuous. Kingdom hearts presents itself like its supposed to make "perfect sense" when you know everything. Allen Wake is literally designed to be esoteric and interpreted. Everything in that world operates on different rules than every other thing because its paranormal, extra planer, etc. And everything is ment to make just enough sense to make you ask more questions.
But that wont be everyones bag so they wont get it, amd that's fine.
