On behalf of Shinku to all who make the "Shinku is a ****" - If you were left in care of person you just was going to suddenly die within a few days, but they didn't know themselves, wouldn't you at least try to make them comfortable without letting them know of their impending demise for fear that it would make them unable to enjoy the little time they had left? If anything else, the blame falls solely on Rosen for not completing her and designing the game for his own selfish purposes.
Even the manga makes clear Rozen's "Alice game" is the cause of the Rozen Maiden's mischiefs since before the Alice game was even a thing they were all happy and liked each other (except for kirakishou who was created when everybody else leaved to play the Alice Game), Rozen's desire for Alice was the core problem since his wish made every Rozen Maiden (specially Suigintou) feel insufficient since they all just desired their Father's love

She had started to like Suigintou after meeting her and then thought that she would be perfect to take her place after she leaves the small girl who is her medium. Of course she is sad that Suigintou died! She is her sister after all. I have to agree, Suigintou's life has been pretty bad so far.
what I don't really get is what would have happened in her first death if she'd had a stomach then - what would have happened? Would Souseiseki's scissors have just jammed themselves in her stomach or would they still have torn her apart? Just something I've been thinking about :/
I think being complete is inherent to having a Rosa Mystica. So if she had a torso, when you cut her in half she would stop moving and her Rosa Mystica would come out since that's their soul. But right now she's like Phillip J. Fry with his brainwaves so they both continue to operate normally even in the presence of what should be necessary and can't be disabled conventionally.
I would never understand why rozen initially never completed her, when she is beautiful and perfect when he could have, easily even repaired completely broken dolls.
It's an anime-only plot point that I think was caused by the manga not being far enough along yet for the foreshadowing about her being a "failure" to make sense. It may also have been that they knew Kirakisho would be a character or had a concept of her, but didn't think the anime would be popular enough to make it to that point in the story, so they just combined the two together. In the manga, she ISN'T incomplete, she's just the oldest of the sisters. Watching such a large number of other dolls be made after her drove her mad because it meant she was so far from being perfect; the other dolls feel similar feelings of self-hatred and jealousy for the younger dolls, with Hina being the most hated since she was the youngest* - even Shinku began to feel this kind of resentment for her. When they escape the garden and the game begins, Suiginto and Kanaria are pretty much the only ones who are super interested in killing the other dolls, that being since they were the eldest (with Kirakisho* being a special case for obvious reasons, technically she is the youngest but Hina is the youngest completed doll) but for the most part deep down the dolls all just want to get along and make their masters' happy.
She was "broken" because she wanted to kill her dear father when they met (in spite of loving him, it was a twisted love). Also, her wings kinda broke the part of the body were they spread from.
The end of the manga is garbage, Jun is supposed to be the same type as Rozen, so in the end he had to confront him for the right to be the father of the Rozen Maiden and in the best case scenario make Shinku a person. real by giving him half of his soul to revive her after she dies and in the end they should have stayed together, instead nothing happens in the end nor does Rozen get his punishment, tremendous garbage 😷
Suigintou didnt had all the fault, i can recall a phrase used by shinku in overture, in which she says that suigintou could not be a rozen maiden, because rozen maiden had the best quality and were perfect, calling suigintou practically junk or wrecked

I think that from the start it was really unfair for her and even though she had no idea what the Alice game was she was dragged into it and betrayed by Shinku(who is indeed a bitch) and she had no Rosa Mystica either. With all that she has every right to seek revenge.And yes I am a huge Suigintou fan, she is awesome and I lover her outfit as well as her cool feather powers.

Shinku felt bad after three times seeing Suigintou die. The third time, Suigintou more rather 'protected' Shinku from Barasuishou.
