When I teach interview skills, I always remind the candidate to check breath, teeth, maybe floss in toilet before going into building, check cosmetics on face for any clumps, messiness, check fingernails ( should be short, clean, pale or no polish), subtle jewellery, clean shoes, ironed clothes, check nostrils, remove excess nostril hair before that day, do not wear fragrances in case interviewer has allergies, if you have sweaty hands then rub with tissue in toilet before going into interview room. I have many more tips to ensure a more confident composure for the interview. Yes, set two alarms that morning. Look interviewer in the eyes but in a non- aggressive manner. Whiten your teeth two weeks before if your teeth are yellow or worse.
Could you please do a video on mourning/funeral etiquette on things like how to say your sorry for their loss and how to behave at such times? I often see people behaving in ways that make it seem as if they're making the grieving process more painful for others than helping them with their sympathy.
What perfect timing! I’m a student and have an interview with the largest law firm in the world in two days. I was nervous, and very glad to watch this!
I'm grateful lady Jamila! I'm been asking u to create this video for a very long time, and here it is. I'm satisfied, thank u! Always glad to see ur new videos! Keep going, we love u, appreciate u❤️
Hi Jamila, I really admire your language skills! I’d just like to let you know that the correct pronunciation of the ‘ie’ in the noun ‘accessories’ is ‘ee’. The way you pronounced it is the pronunciation of the verb ‘accessorise’. 😊
Thanks for this fine lesson, Jamila. But a question lingers: what to do when and if the interviewers ask uncomfortable, off-putting or invasive, unnecessary questions? In my country, some questions are even illegal (like "are you planning on getting pregnant?"), but I'm more concerned about the grey-area questions.
Thank you soooooo muchhhhh Jamila for sharing this video because I am having my job interview day after tomorrow and this was such a helpful video and I am so so glad that I've Found your UA-cam Channel 🥹💫♥️

If there are lessons please do share with us Also please make a video on self development, soft skills And motivational videos. It's teaches me as a teenager a lot of things Have a great day ahead
For my last interview I did not arrive late, just right on time, but all huffing and puffing because I had been walking a lot, couldn't find the place for the life of me and it had not been possible to check perfectly the route beforehand (couldn't try and go the day before and google maps didn't help lol). I was put together enough though when it started, at least I hope so! I have a question, if it's a zoom interview is it ok to dress a little less formal? Thank you!
can one look too desperate to get the job in an job interview? E.g. I think the "thank you" note is cute but I don't want to seem too desperate and needy lol. On the other side, if I really really want the job...??? Should I look on it like dating or is this different?
That is not desperate. That is courtesy and good manners. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make the best impression granted that you have all the skillset and are qualified for the job.

It is recommended that during tge interview one should dress for the position one wants and not the one they are currently holding.
always- dress for the job you want, not the one you have or are applying to at the moment.
Dear Jamila very thanks for your video 💝✨️🌹
