My favourite Prithviraj movie and Santhosh Sivan movie is the same one "Urumi". It has beautiful visuals and also a compelling story. The reason it's my favourite is that after all story telling there is a scene which resembles the past at that time they play that soothing bgm and it just breaks my heart. It's just top notch feeling for me. There were drawbacks for that movie but still ❤

It was a nice movie. But prithviraj was terrible as the lead. I actually enjoyed Arya's portions which were, ironically, dubbed by Prithviraj. Loved Nithya Menen too.. but on the whole, the movie was weird rather than interesting.

I dont know if you'll get it in Germany, but it's one of the first drinks you'd be offered if you were a tourist visiting Kerala
Sometimes foreigners stomachs don't like it. I've seen a few guys vomit out of the House boats after having some. However most people love it

The one to watch from this film is ‘Pinakkamano’, although all the songs are great.
I will never forget this movie.. First day first show got the tickets. But film delayed due to print not arrived on time😄. Waited 1-2 hours, but worth a wait. Digambaran played by Manoj K Jayan in this movie will be there top ten villian roles in Malayalam film industry ❤

The movie is about when the Portuguese landed in Kerala and are slowly beginning to capture territory. Kerala was the biggest exporter of spices in the world back then. Although Kerala did have freedom struggles, the rulers of Kerala were peace loving and intelligent. They managed to hide billions of worth of gold and jewels which were found in 2005 in Padmanabha temple in Kerala. The rulers didn't have super extravagant palaces and dressed very humbly. Kerala's role during colonialism is a very interesting perspective. I'm hoping you will watch Urumi

@@TheJimmyCage Where did you find mixed reviews for Puzhu? A few might have pointed out some scopes for making it a truly great movie if they would have been more cautious about some aspects. But I'm sure no one can give a thumbs down for the movie. Don't give a second thought. Watch it at least for the theme and performances.
