    Thanks a lot mate. You saved to me a few bucks on a 3.7 v regulation circuit. I habe just bought a night visión scope powered by a single 18650 battery and when the unit is using the IR lamp and is recording video a 9900 mAh don’t last even 8 minutes. Thanks a lot.

    Great video ! I use to do that but i did not use resistors . correct me if im wrong, are the resistors used to limit current passing through the diodes? Because i want to make a charger 5v with batteries and i'm pretty sure that if i dont use resistors , the diodes will have to much current going through them? I want to do this but to make ≈7.4v to ≈5v do i need to change de resistances? ..sorry for my bad English

      In this circuit, the resistance has nothing to do with the output current and it is only for diode bios.
      In this circuit, we use the voltage drop of the diode to reach the desired voltage, and you can reduce the input voltage by adding a diode to the value of the diode voltage drop.

    Hi, I have 2 questions
    1. what is the purpose of connecting the resistor
    2. I connected my old bluetooth headset (worked with 3.7v 60mah battery) to the amp and it worked. but with the diode, will this circuit cause problems after a long time (I plug it into a 5v charger)

      I think it cause problem in long time,Bluetooth headset circuit are designed as if input current increases the system will turn off automatically, my 2$ bluetooth earphone turns of when i charge it,so i Don't recommend you to use this corcuit

    I have resistors but what does OHM mean? I have blue resisters from 1k to over 100k (I don’t remember the highest I have). Do I need those tan ones?

      Ohm is the name of the dude who creted resistance. And symbol of resistance. He shows 2 1kOhms parallel, but if you count them together it actualy gives 1 500ohm

    is this the 1k ohm resistor 1/4 or 1/2 and is there a difference if i use a 1/2 ? cause its different color thanks and also can i cut the metal leads shorter if i do this ?

      Yes, you can make the wires shorter. It is better to use a 10 k 1/4 watt resistor

      Most Wi-Fi modules use 3.3 volts and a regulator converts 5 volts to 3.3. You can use a battery with a tp 4056 charging module. However, a complete answer cannot be given until there is accurate information about the board.

      Hi dear friend. Use 2 diodes to convert 3.7 to 3.2 in the circuit above. At the same time, the full charge voltage of the battery is 3.7 volts and 4.2 volts. In the circuit above, the voltage drop of the diode is used to reduce the voltage. The voltage drop of 1n4007 diodes is about 0.5 volts.

    the amp are very low about 50map

    I want to change my 3x Lr44 (@1.5v) led wire lamp to usb, I have tried connecting it directly with usb, a few seconds there is a burning smell on the circuit box.

      To charge a 3.7 volt battery you need a full charge voltage.
      For 3.7 volt batteries, this voltage is 4.2 volts.
