Honesty did not help TATA get "surprised" by usage patterns of EV buyers. For a brand from India in the car segment for over 4 decades, it should have gathered enough insights into car usage and not lost its Govt. subsidy for delivering less range than promised, or , more important, expected. The Tata Nano suffered because of the same lack of insights.
Waiting for the Altroz EV, they say that its going to have a range of 500 kms. 💚 Even if it can manage a range of 400 in real road conditions, that would be a winner.
Have booked nexon ev today & they clearly told even after future updates too u will not get 300kms+ for nexon at this price range car as they have a jaguar ev which provides 500kms will effect those sales.
lol.. 500kms and actual 400km range, keep dreaming buddy. If you drive at regular place, you might achieve 8km to kwh efficiency, now calculate your desired range need and find out the capacity it needs to have. for 400km, you need 50kwh battery and good luck getting that battery pack for anything less than 20L.
Do u even have the knowledge about it?? the reason tesla is using robots and automation is 1. bcz of the payscale in america, minimum wage is $7.25 per hour and a professional can easily charge $20-40 per hour or more. do the maths and u will get the answer. 2.America's entire population is about 32.82 crores, which is equivalent to the population of UP and Maharashtra, just 2 states of our country. 3.
