Appreciate the support, the truck belongs to my ex..she bought it without being able to drive it. The original plan was to buy it and swap it so her and I could cruise around together. However, the project is being finished by someone else now..
I am curious why you had to remove the crossmember under the cab. I have a 56 Ford F100 with a very similar crossmember in the same location. When others have removed their 56 crossmember it is caused the frame to twist on both sides from the cab weight.
@@marteck319 it was removed to add the plates to box in the frame. I think it may have interfered with the CV transmission as well I was planning to re use it farther back for a transmission brace later
