Akuma is coming to Street Fighter 6 and that means that the Raging Demon is returning! We've all seen it and it looks amazing, which makes me wonder which game has the best Raging Demon for Akuma! Thats where I come in

5 and 6's are great, but my favorite is CvS2 Shin.
The sound effects when you listen to it are amazing. The insane dash speed, pause grab, painfully accelerating hitsparks that start slower than normal and get way too fast towards more than double the regular version and then a huge, sudden screen stop at Akuma and the kanji with the impact sound for a second before he says his phrase (same one he uses in SF6).
It was kind of a beta of 5's if you think about it

I wish 6's had more of a rhythm up to the crescendo of the finish, similar to SF5's. I also wish that he didn't do the jumping attack, it looks dumb with all the clones. It should've been the clones mashing the fuck out of the victim, then Akuma slicing through the madness with his slam from the second half of his EX Shoryu (or V-Trigger 1 Shoryu form 5), with a KKZ drawing the kanji into the ground. Would've been the perfect demon.
EDIT: That being said, he does have KKZ in his CA, which is dope, and this demon is really good despite whatever madness I wish it was.

That's exactly what I said on another video. That's just a Ranbu Super from SNK games, not a Demon. It's cool, especially the KO screen of Z-Gouki using his thrusters to make the Heaven/"Ten" symbol, but it's not a Demon.
Yeah I do think a lot of characters have Ranbu’s that aren’t counted. Tbh it’s one of the most make it or break type of supers

Gem Fighter, Shin Akuma CvS2, and 3rd Strike for 2D Demons.
SF6, SFV Kage, SFV Akuma, T7 Shin Akuma, and all other versions of the SF4 Ultra 1 Demon for 3D Demons.
Well I can’t lie this is a good selection. What’s your reasoning for each choice?

3rd Strike: Kill Screen goes hard. Honestly could've put the 2nd Impact one there too for the same reason.
Shin Akuma: Double the hits, and the two breaks in-between making the pacing better.
Gem Fighter: Put it in slo-mo and see all the goofy stuff Akuma is doing in that one.
6 needs no explanation. Kage's is above Akuma's because it's essentially a more savage, bloody version of what Akuma does in his. I believe the Shin Akuma boss in T7 has a special killscreen where the Heaven/"Ten" symbol gets drawn one stroke at a time by the lightning bolts that makes up the symbol, all before a big glass shatter screen break into the kill screen proper. It's a nice upgrade to what otherwise is just a port of SF4 Wrath of the Raging Demon. Fittingly, it's the 3D equivalent to the CvS2 Shin Akuma Demon, where there's just a minor change that still has a big impact in making it feel like a stronger RD.
And for what it's worth, Oni's RD in Asura's Wrath is cool, but that's more on the fact that Asura's Wrath gameplay allows you to counter it than the Demon itself.

My fav is 3rd strike. I don’t like seeing the hits it seems more menacing when’s it’s invisible
That’s a fair point however they gotta switch it up and let SOME of the hits be seen.

@@alexlovehall7796it's like a horror movie at the start the ghost is scary because you barely see it makes it very mysterious but at the end of the movie with the full reveal it's not scary anymore and all the mystery is gone.
@@fish-kt4iq well however true that is, using the premise of that, I don’t mind seeing some of the moves from a martial arts perspective
I hope you do another one in the future after the novelty of sf6 akuma wears off to see if your opinions are still the same. Novelty really skews opinions, best to have opinions when it wears off. Sf6 one just looks like a mess with rhyme and rhythm, less would have been more. The best raging demon is still kage's from sfv in my opinion, just brutality and savagery.
