I work for the company that services the garage doors at this fire department. I smile every time I pull into that driveway. This is the only black hurricane I've seen.
@@That_2_guy2T It's just a fucking siren for crying out loud. Would you expect me to cry if Milwaukee's were to get replaced? It has to be done. (I mean yeah, it is a unique siren) but still. You kiddies rreeaallllyy like to overreact a lot over shit that's destined to happen.
Branden2732 the hurricane is actually a lot louder than the thunderbolt. yes, the thunderbolt has more "supercharge" sound to it than the hurricane does...

Milwaukee ACA HURRICANE: u think I’m a joke?
RIP darien aca hurricane. We lost a legend. It was replaced on 5/29/2021 with a black t128
Yeah plus it worked perfectly fine but the fd still replaced the rarest siren
@moved_on the siren was dying stop spreading false information

Thunderbolts aren't being made anymore but they're still around
that's cool how it did full alert!
Love Hurricanes! Great Video! I have to get a recording of one soon!
Wonder who the lucky bloke was that got the Hurricane when it was replaced 🤔?
Just an update this siren is replaced with a T-128
The siren is still at the same fire department. I did see thunderbolt but that's up near Naperville.
and it's still active !
Sorry to reply a long time ahead, but where is that bolt in Naperville??
That's the siren's name. Plus, you don't get a lot of hurricane warnings in Illinois.
ACA's attempt at replicating the Thnderbolt. The Hurricane was an awesome siren, but the Thunderbolt seemed like it had more of a "Roar" to it.

hyvää-elämää-98 By 2 DB's. The thunderbolt 1000 is 128 DB's at 100 feet and the Hurricane is 130 DB's at 100 feet...
isn't that the tbolt 1000 that's 128dB's? I thought the tbolt 1000T was 125dB's
hyvää-elämää-98 Nope. 1000 is 128 and the 1000T is 126.
SoundMaster 391
Ok, well, I was going off of an ad from Federal from August 1952, it states that the effective volume at 100' is in fact, 128 dB's.
You just captured a Hurrican 130, one of the RAREST Sirens in the World, and yet you just sad it is like
A Thunderbolt!
I thought that the blower was dead on this one...I guess they fixed it.
Is this the same one that youtube user nascarsimracing1 recorded looks like it
yes, it is indeed the one i recorded, back in 2011!
was this replaced?
+Avery Gustafson nope ! still there
Nice!
+American Siren Productions id love to get a video of this
A T128 sits on its pole
Eep, a capacitor problem during the windup! That's an easy fix, and hopefully not a reason for that county/town/whatever to replace that siren.
The Batcane!!!
I never see a siren in that model before
Jaimee Kinman their rare
It drowns out that pesky 2001 130. Lol
My thunderbolt siren horn and chopper is being repainted.
Laura wolpern's channel is stupid! The only thing that I have a great day stupid to know if fuck is good. Love Sugar.
RAAAAAAAAREEEEEEE
If the siren don't make a blast it will howl in a lot of minutes.
I swear to god I never seen a jet black hurricane RARE
It's more of a light onyx
Rip
Makes no sense to have a hurricane siren when everyone is going to be evacuated from the area
Its the name of the siren
Black.
That was dreadful.
Thunderbolts aren't being made anymore but they're still around
It helps that they were much more reliable and produced in far larger numbers than the Hurricanes.
