Moulton is good and I think he’s going to be great this year, but Johnson proved he is athletically the best running back we have
Athleticism is one aspect of being a back. Much more involved.
Yeah Kamari looked decent, had about 2 dropped passes that kind of hurt but he'll be good.
Gill is one of those high-energy fearless dudes! We need a WR like that. He never goes half speed.
I don't know how anyone could watch that game and come away with the opinion that Moulton was better than Johnson. It's not like Johnson was just running through huge holes untouched, he was running through tackles and making plays that the other backs weren't making. But I'm glad we got all three of the backs. They all have their own strengths.
Very disappointed with media not asking Kirk today about Sullivan not getting quality reps in 4 th Qrt.

Best all-around RB room in the conference without a doubt. Not even a debate. Might be the best in the nation, which is debatable.
I sure hope the OL can protect CM12 well to give the WRs time to get down field, open holes for the backs, and push DLs laterally along with vertically.
It ALL starts up front.
If the OL is above average (nationally), look out, these Hawkeye players could beat any team in the nation.

@@PisgahGravelProject for the most part the pass protection was phenomenal last week. Granted it was Illinois state so I’d be worried if it wasn’t, but Cade had all day to throw in most cases
