The star links best possible use is in remote areas where mobile service is not available. So it's not about the speed !!
Agree
As someone who lives in the middle of nowhere and have next to nothing for options horrible cell service... this stuff works great.
I'm able to play games and use UA-cam at the same time so worth every penny in my opinion being my parents have fiber internet and starlink is faster than their internet.
In our village download speed 699.2 Mbps 😂
yeah right
it's mega bits per second not mega byte 😂 8000 bits = i megabyte

In India bro, we have N77 band 5G, which gives around 600mbps! Also, it is absolutely free of cost! We just pay 600-700 rs, which comes to around $7-8, and we enjoy ourselves 3 months of pure 5G high speed experience!
You can use starlink in the middle of the sea , stranded on desert or lost in wood.
But you can't use mobile phone

Yes BSNL is everywhere only problem is you have to buy cables at 10Rs per meter i guess and you can get connected anywhere in village and remote areas so its cheaper downside is sometime line get cuts but its worth the price you are payibg monthly vs minor disturbance

It’s awesome. I work at gold mine with no cell service man this Starlink is awesome only pay $199 for the hardware and $140 a month before tax but it’s fast and I can game online.
Awesome my friend. How come hardware only $199? I paid $599
$140 a month is expensive
@@nomercyforthewicked it’s but it’s cheaper then some other internet service here up north of Canada. So $140 is cheap if you think about it

I got mine about 2 years ago back In 2021 and I love it the speeds are still the same and I love how they give me 30 extra days to pay the bills unlike other services that cut off the internet access
Hey. Where are you from? I'm guessing USA? Here in Nigeria, we only just got Starlink in January. And yes, they do give time to pay. I want to ask tho, have you ever been disconnected? Also, what speeds do you get?
@Stanley KC I'm from Saskatchewan, and the starlink works great over here. The speeds are much faster than the old wifi I had. I got around 1,000Mbps with this wifi and sometimes 800mbps when cloudy
Wait, what?! You get up to 1Gbps speed on Starlink? Can you show me a speed test? Like a link.
Here in Nigeria. We get alot less than 300Mbps. Mostly around 100 - 200Mbps
@Stanley KC I am planning on doing a review soon. Plus, I'm using a third-party gameing router with it, so that will also be making my connection speed faster
Well, I'll like to watch that

Just got mine. Haven't hooked it up yet, but I went with the premium with the larger dish. Have you tried to do any livestreaming with it yet?
Glad you got your Dishy. Yes i have. Worked perfectly
@@StanleyKC That's great to knmow. I've heard horrow stories about the upstream speed dipping low enough to mess it up. What resolution do you stream at?
I think I misunderstood, livestreaming meant watching livestreams to me and not doing it myself. Yeah, I see how that can be a problem. Upload speeds aren't great.

This satellites are definitely worth it in third world countries but they are way too expensive in United States or Europe when they are compared head to head with local internet which is 5 times the speed around same price and you don’t have to pay extra for the hardware since most people already have routers in their homes. It’s expensive in third world countries too but they alternative options isn’t better than star link so it makes the price somewhat justified.
Your are correct. And reliability too. I have fibre but that sometimes goes off for 3 days lol. Ridiculous really. Starlink still the best option in this part of the world.

Just get 4 or 5g and a mobile data box if you can not every one has a signal for that its cheeper and often has better speeds constantly

POV : You're reading Indians ebbarassing themselves comparing wireless Starlink with their wired broadband😂
Come to India soon.
Getting much better speed in the Airtel 300 Mbps plan than this speed at a very cheaper cost.
Love the comments boasting about their high population area speeds in comparison when Starlink is for rural solutions where the best speeds are often like 5mbps or worse, Starlink is a godsend that can game, 4k, and stream in areas with no internet capabilities, this isn't for people who live in the city lol
Great fast
How much does this item cost in the area where you live?
Hello. About $300 now, I just checked Starlink.com. 440,000 Naira is approximately $300
how about monthly price
It is better then paying alot of money for places where they only have a phone cable
Is starlink paying taxes and license fees to operate in Nigeria?
Yes, there's tax on the invoice.
Actually we Indians got data very cheaper than other countries with high speed. jio 5G mostly peak speed is above 1Gbps, The star link is entirely different that I know it is a satellite based internet which is mostly used by cargo ships where there is no mobile signal, In remote area also used. because of satellite internet the maintenance cost is very huge that's why it is not cheaper.
How’s the download speed like on google, movie downloads and do you use it for gaming on PS5? How’s the latency like?? Can you do more detailed reviews pls before I purchase one. Thanks
Download speed today was almost 17MB/s. I have a PS5 but I hardly play it, when I do... Not online. Latency is 30-55ms most times. Router signal isn't the greatest. You need to be close to it to get the most out of it. Hope this helps. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE 😊
This is a Starlink 3 or 4 or 5 ?
Do I need to pay after the installation before I get fast Internet connection?
Initial payment includes first month Trial subscription. But it starts counting from the day it's shipped or the day you pay i think. But not from when you first connect. So basically you have 1/2 weeks to try it and return it at no extra charge if you don't like it.
A comment from Taiwan : 300Mbps unlimited data usage for only 990 NTD (about 33 USD) per month
This is some expensive stuff that does not worth the price.
