I used to love the sounds of old buses with these tuneful ZF gearboxes! Now not many of them exist instead been replaced by new buses with the tuneless ZF Ecolife gearbox.
I really dont like them. Especially the Volvo B9TLs that just dont even rev or anything just sounds like 1 long gear! Then you have the E400H Hybrids & B5LH Hybrids that are more like travelling on a tram. Really not keen on modern buses at all these days.
In america our transit authority switched over to ecolife on their new Gillig CNG and new flyer artic buses and it has a boring sound and the buses with the ecomat which are the newer cng new flyers are the best and they scream with the man axles.
I really enjoyed this!! Not to be a stickler, but you missed a few! Like 4HP-500, 6HP-592C, 6HP-594C, 6HP-602C, the list goes on!! If you make a part two, also look into some other countries that have Ecomat!! That 502C sounded reeeaalll good!!!

I agree 100% with your statement in the description. ZF Ecolifes suck and have no character, boring as hell. Just couple an Ecolife and an ISL-G, and ya ...!!!
Stagecoach only seem to be getting buses with voith gearboxes witch are more enclined to blow to the engine because its putting to much strain on it or that stupid IShift that dosent let the vehicle speed up until its ready to change gear.

Volvo B9TL (CDGE) and Scania K230UB (Euro 4) uses ZF 6HP-502C
B9TL uses 6HP594C-N plus Ecolife and K230 uses 5/6HP504C-N

In Argentina O500U buses were equipped with the Ecomat II from 2009/10 to 2012
In Brazil until 2012 too.
