I LOVE the chalky pale shadows, but that's because I'm super pale and need something like that to wipe along my inner lower lash line to combat redness and make it look fresh. Of course they always put them in quads for a pop on the browbone, but I think most people have a browbone shade 10x over and don't need another one in every palette and quad!

Pretty look Ruth! I'm on the hunt for a new concealer, so the timing is perfect.
Some people including me use the pale colors to set our eyeshadow base.
Looks lovely, I love these looks and they are also pretty much all I wear too. I use the pale shades in a pallet all over my lid to sort of create an even base and particularly in the inner corner to neutralise any darkness and set concealer if I can be bothered to apply any or to set foundation on my eyes as I tend to put it on my eye lids too when I do my base. .
You could use the light eyeshadow color for just underneath the eyebrow, to contour and lift it

I've been popping in and out of selfidges lately buying recommended products by your lovely self , the new divine dewy face product by CT and a Clinique dewy foundation that you have often been really positive about and on and on .Anyhow when I am checking in which shade etc I mention your blog and Instagram and that the MUA/ shop assistant simply must start to follow you , after all your out there working dammed hard flogging their goods .
I go so far as to say , " let me just write the details down for you on your note pad "

Love the look Ruth. The concealer and blush are definitely of interest to me. I would love to know which shade concealer you used. There looks to be a big difference between shade 2 and 3 online. I just recently saw a review of a First Aid Beauty concealer that sounds similar.

Ruth, once you have your base and you're happy with the coverage, does the Flawless Filtr move it? That's my problem with most products, they sort of uncover my blemishes again and because I have melasma I need that coverage but would love to have the glow, too. Thank you! x
The filter is really for below the base. I just put it on top here because I already had my base on! x

Hi Ruth! Love natural make-up for every day. I have rosacea. I use a concealer to cover the redness but when I put on bronzer, the redness appear again. Any tips? Thanks! Love your channel!
Marisa Alvarez I have rosacea too do you set the concealer so that it doesn't move? Once I set my face my bronzed etc don't move any of my base
Marisa Alvarez i use damp beauty blender to apply bronzer after concealer/foundation to prevent this
