Seven years ago, I am married into a beautiful family, a mother of five including a six-year-old boy who has now become my best friend. I've since lived my family life like this song. I can't change the way I grew up or how I was treated. But I can certainly work on my family in the present. To paraphrase a famous movie line: "Your future is what you make it so make it a 'God' one..."

A different flavor . My what if would be ...if I could turn back time. God has been healing my heart and soul and I realized the way I was living was not good. My mom went home to Jesus about 3 years ago and I never thought she was going to go , she was 85. But because of the pain ( I didn't realize I had) I didn't treat my mom the way I should have. Since I can't change that, when I can share with someone whose mom is living - I tell them what happened to me and to love & respect their mom because tommorow might not happen.

This song reminds me that I can do all things through christ who gives me strength and Jesus will use my blindness for his glory. I have no what ifs!!
