Joel missing the whole point on the MVP conversation. The Bills were losing games last year because of Josh Allen. He was turning the ball over like crazy. They started winning games when they took the ball out his hands and gave it to James Cook. The Ravens loses wasn’t because of Lamar turnover plays. Their losing games because their the most penalized team, the pass defense was dead last, and the O Line struggled heavily in the beginning of the SZN. But nobody wants to bring that up, they just want to blame it on Lamar and say he underperforming on a team with expectations.
You have all right to bash Nix for his performance but you didn’t. My only argument would be he also finished with 3 TD passes to his 3 picks. Instead you spoke of the Broncos resilience and the special year they are having. Keep up the good work. Go Broncos!
Seahawks still got a chance at the division as long as they win one of the bears and Vikings games it’s gonna come down to week18 on who wins the division
Josh Allen was not in the mvp conversation last season, like can we stop with this revisionist history. I remember last season, the QBs getting major MVP consideration was Dak, Brock Purdy and Lamar, and then cmc was the running back in the convo as well, that’s it! There was literally multiple discussions on sports talk shows like First Take and First Things First talking about Lamar vs Brock, talking about Dak and the cowboys, cmc getting some love. There was literally a conversation about how Brock or Lamar could cement the mvp on Christmas Day because they played each other. I don’t understand where this whole “Josh Allen should’ve won last year” conversation is coming from like no he shouldn’t have! He didn’t even finish 2nd in the voting and he literally threw I believe 18 interceptions last season, there was literally talk about if Sean McDermott would lose his job because the bills were not playing well and fighting to get back in the playoff mix. That’s not the case this year with the ravens, they are in the playoff mix. I got no problem with Josh Allen, one of the best QBs in the league, but everyone needs to stop lying and saying he was in the conversation last season and should’ve won it, like no he wasn’t. That’s a lie
@thejoelmoranshow are you serious bro?!?! Baker lost his top 2 WRs, one for the season, and has a defense decimated by injury all season not to mention he's had his o line dealing with injuries all season. And you want to say Herbert has done more with less? This statement couldn't be more insane lol. Baker has kept this team afloat and he's been putting up MVP numbers despite playing the toughest first half schedule in the league having to throw to Cade Otton and RBs. He was taking good teams to the wire with no weapons and no defense. And he's 4th in yards, 3rd in tds, 3rd in comp %, 6th in passer rating and he's statistically been the best 3rd down QB in the league. And you say Herbert has been better? Not even close
@@jtturner1508 buccaneers OL and run game is better. Play calling is also better If you wanna just use raw numbers then yea Baker has technically been better but situation matters
@thejoelmoranshow before Dobbins got hurt LAC had a great run game. That's a fact. They also have a good o line. Joe Alt has been a monster. We can't ignore what Baker has done with a team that's been far more decimated by injury, while putting up FAR better numbers, all because Baker also has a good run game and might have the better o line. Then they met head to head, Herbert had the number one defense, and Baker destroyed them. There's no world where Herbert has been more impressive. Baker was better than him last year too
@ with Dobbins they were an inconsistent run team at best but when he was healthy Herbert was playing well Since he went out the Chargers have no run game and Herbert has played worse
9:56 Jokic and Embiid did it in 2021 and 2022

Let’s goooooo💙
9:33 I agree. Would be a travesty if Allen never won an MVP

Facts. All this revisionist history about Allen last season is krazy. Did ppl forget that he led the league in INTs & total turnovers
Joel who do you think has been playing better herbert or Baker this season ??
It’s Herbert because of what he’s had to deal with
Baker has a great run game, OL, and nice receiving options
Baker has better stats

Another thing that's wild Josh had ode crazy numbers 2020 but Aaron Rodgers just decided to literally play perfect that season lmaooo
Remind me again, why are the 9ers so bad?
Why do you have your own show wtf 😅
Why don’t you use the whole “they can’t beat a team over .500” when it comes to the chargers? They’ve only beat 1 and it was a divisional game
(I’m a raider fan that’s why I’m hating)
Lamar fans are like Curry fans, they dont like it when they player gets held to the same standard as others
The cardinals can still win the division, especially if they beat the rams
