You must be referring to the April 16th, 1976 concert at Calderone Theatre... if so, you might be able to remember / confirm that Skyhooks (from Australia) opened the show.
@@robertmurphy440 glory days! I have some photos to send you from that show but cannot upload them here. But I would be glad to send them over as they might bring back memories. Is there a way I could reach / message you directly?
Thank you for uploading it! I, then 14 years old, attended this Uriah Heep concert on June 5, 1976 in the SGU Näfels Switzerland. I remember as if it was yesterday. Polo Hofer Band played the opening act. I was at the front, to the left of the massive PA speaker towers. When UH came in and Mick Box struck the E string, it was so extremely loud that it completely distorted the sound in the ears and the crowd fled backwards. 10 meters further back the volume was bearable. Nevertheless it was an unforgettable, beautiful concert. Lee Kerslake threw a drum stick into the crowd that I could fight for. He was engraved with his autograph in blue metalic. Unfortunately my mother threw it away a few years later. When I wanted to go home after the concert, I had a flat tire on my moped. 3 guys from Chur, who were also at the concert, then took me to Mühlehorn in their car. In the car we where listening, who is surprised Uriah Heep. I then saw Uriah Heep 3 more times in Switzerland. In Winterthur, Lausanne and Geneva.
Glory days! I guess you attended the following 3 concerts (I have material to send you if you want): March 30, 1978: Innocent Victim tour - Eulachhalle, Winterthur (with Stan Webb's Chicken Shack) February 9, 1979: Fallen Angel tour - Pavillon Des Sports, Geneva, (with The Michael Wynn Band) April 7, 1980: Conquest tour - Pavillon 32 du Palais De Beaulieu, Lausanne (with Tickets)
