Blue cat videos are underrated imo. And I kinda like the longer form videos such as this. Thank you Blue Cat and team for making light of the Qoo10 situation in an easy to understand format. 👌👌👌
i found it fishy when they suddenly made it so hard to delete your credit card details in the app. it used be in more prominent locations like other apps
I have a question, I bought like $114 in Q coins back in October 2024, now I can't even do anything about it. Their CS is unresponsive and only recently found out they already had money issues as early in September. Can't believe they still accepted payment to "buy" Q coins in October. Is my money gone or is there any hope that I can still get a refund?
Think you need to contact the liquidator and file some stuff, but is up to the liquidator decision and need to see whether have any $ leftover after distributing to higher priority stakeholders
I have $2k worth of the useless Q coins in my account. Now only can take it money thrown into the sea. No hope of getting it back. After they repay all the high debts, nothing left for those who have the Q coins.
I'm Singaporean, so I'm familiar with the accent. But because of the way the audio is recorded and the way you articulate most words, it's hard to understand without turning on the subtitles. Decent content, but do consider the auditory aspects of video-making..
this can explain why everytime customer got issue with qo10, their cs will throw the vendor under the bus then pang kang liao. Honestly the crack probably started long long ago liao lor.
The money go to buying failing platforms: shopclues, tmon, wemakeprice, koreashipping, momoe, simi Korean AK mall..and so many more. Then finally wish.
Your leepork not bad. Let me append. The money go to buying failing platforms: shopclues, tmon, wemakeprice, koreashipping, momoe, Korean AK mall..and so many tiny ones that we don’t know about. Then finally wish. Closing of Qoo10 does not close those they bought. So, take money, run road, claim new companies not for liquidation. Very very sneaky. Won’t be surprised if next is wish money roll over to something else hahaha.
Feel so sad for Qoo10. And the nostalgia... it was the first place I i started online shopping/purchase close to 10 years ago... sigh...
nostalgic feeling can only go so far...let's move on :) cheers
They didn't just bought wish, they bought a death wish.
Appreciate the summary. Gmarket was such a nostalgia.

I'm actually surprised that Qoo10 is still alive. Its interface so messy, and its double pricing is so misleading and annoying.
Thanks for summarizing, but sad for Qoo10's current state now.

what's the link between Qoo10 & the drink Qoo?
Some businesses operate by wheeling and dealing until the bubble bursts. However, people often choose to overlook the red flags.

Forget about it. I have thousands worth, $100 is nothing

@@savageboy1983 now that you guys shared your losses, i don't feel so bad anymore. Thanks guys😅
@@Luden0906 but where can we contact the liquidator?
Honestly not surprised qoo10 has never been a household name in singaporea like shopee or lazada has been
Before shopee or Lazada was established, I think Qoo10 was more prominent in the scene
At one point of time, qoo10 was THE online shopping platform people used because of how great the discounts and vouchers were.

Thanks for this! :)

Something is off. Where did the money go after buying Wish? Wish died?
The money go to buying failing platforms: shopclues, tmon, wemakeprice, koreashipping, momoe, simi Korean AK mall..and so many more. Then finally wish.
wow didn't know about the drama story at the back and even extended to South Korea + US...lol
Once US tariffs start, companies like Wish and Temu would go kahput sia. GG to the Qoo10 CEO lah.
