In my list, I'd include Ryland Tews Lake Michigan Monster was great and although he didn't direct it, Hundreds of Beavers has got at least some internet traction so there's that
Great to see you back making videos. Love seeing the Celine Song appreciation. The craft that went into Past Lives was brilliant. Wish it got some more technical recognition at the Oscars like directing or cinematography. Also Nida Manzoor is a Doctor Who director too, so that makes me happy
The only Director I ever cared about ended up turning his back on the film industry and I'm talking about Kerry Conran. Its very rare that you really see a true visionary come into the film industry and it was it.
I think Rose Glass who has done Saint Maud and now Love Lies Bleeding, she should be there. And A.V Rockwell who released One in A Thousand which was great and super underrated (so is Teyana Taylors acting debut.).
Ti West was one I considered, but given X and Pearl were already so big, plus he's been making moderately successful and well praised movies since the late 00s, I think it's safe to say he's here.

Great video! Definitely adding these directors to my list of people to keep my eye on!

Didn't know Jordan did Creed 3. Awesome . Really liked that as well.

Thank you for the love for Polite Society , for it went right in all the places that Bottoms went wrong.
Maybe he's already arrived, but Ti West is doing pretty ambitious things, especially considering he hasn't had a big budget to work with yet.
