Perhaps you can clear this for me . The only regret or confused I should say regarding purchasing one of the X3 accessories was it’s utility frame. I spent 100 AUD dollars just to realise what good does it do when it doesn’t protect the two cameras along with 2.2 inch screen . The case mainly designed JUST to add protective at the edges which ironically in my opinion insta covered it with rubber fine grip edges anyway.
It's in the name - it's a **utility** frame to give you mounting options for cold shoe and threads. I agree they advertised protection as a feature, but I don't think they meant it as a primary selling point. The degree of protection, for the lens and screen (or lack of), should've been apparent at first glance of the design...
I don’t know why they haven’t come up with a transparent tripod/light stand yet. It’ll still need some editing out but useful for more instant results while allowing the tripod to be more sturdy with the extended selfie stick. And a small metal cage that connects to the tripod so not so much stress is put on the 1/4inch thread. Which IMO isn’t reliable when using extended selfie stick. And a metal spike with a monopod insert on the other end that can easily be pushed into the ground with your feet. Would be useful in nature when you don’t want carry a sturdy tripod around.

if your on a tight budget just go for a selfie stick of your choice, POV mount of your choice, lens cap and screen protector

For X3, yes. For X2, NOT totally disappear. X3 is thicker
