Update: a couple of friends have informed me that the Dirt Devil Total Pet is under Recall due to risk of electric shock and faulty power. I contacted the owner and he has decided to let me keep the vacuum. Since I don't want to sell a recalled item, and it still has issues, it will be kept for now. If you own this machine, research it and check your model number to make sure your machine is not at risk and affected by the safety recall.
those swivel glides have major issues with the belt and tons of other build quality problems with the handles breaking and bases falling apart so be careful with it! Also just being honest that is one of the least maneuverable vacs i have ever used.
I use to have a Turbopower 7100 of that WindTunnel Bagless that we bought in 2001 and died in 2005. They are alright besides the flawed twin chamber system in it. Nostalgic but I strongly prefer the bagged WindTunnels over this.
My grandmother gave us her green dirt devil swivel glide mvp from 00 or 01. The vacuum is on the way to death row, it's louder than it used to be. The little headlight burned out, it was a good vacuum but now that it's broken. We might as well get another vacuum, what is a good vacuum to buy?
I'd recommend the Bissell PowerForce Bagged. Invest in some hepa cloth bags and the vacuum will have good filtration and last forever if you take care of it
@@IntellitechStudios hey thanks man, we got something called a Bissell Powerlifter vacuum that takes bags. We recently took it out of the box and when I used it, it was hard to push and it's the same thing as the newer Powerforce bagged. Other than that, it's an okay vacuum I guess. My sister Kelly who is 20 years old really likes vacuum cleaners and she knows more than I do
Nice! And about the handle release on those Dirt Devils-they tend to have issues with leaning as I fixed a Bagless Vision version of this that had the same issue
I have a Dirt Devil model 110006 (mfg code A09A) “D2 dual cyclonic technology reaction fresh” twin chamber model that works. But it is missing one of the two “air directors”(#1-LK0215), along with the attachments. The air directors are the long silver things that go in each dirt bin chamber. Dirt Devil emailed me saying that the suction is less when one of the air directors is missing. Do you have an extra air director you can sell me? Or know somebody who does? You cannot get one from Dirt Devil or any aftermarket warehouse anymore. Thanks.
Intellitech Studios OK thank you for your fast reply. Please let me know if anything changes on that as I intend to keep this as a dedicated apartment hallway vacuum. I love the 30 foot + long cord on it! Not only that, but I don’t want to use the same vacuum that I vacuum my condo with to also vacuum the hallway as the vacuum could suck in “Covid cooties”(both heavy droplets and light aerosols that can hang in the air for hours)that landed on the hallway carpet from people breathing and talking while in the hallway. That’s why it’s important to open both exterior hallway doors at either end of the building to ventilate.
I don’t know if you saw my text in the live chat last night but I apologized about what I said about H pad he destroys a lot of bissell vacuums when he first buys them and I know you like bissell
