Some say this bowl, Level 10 at Moko Tanmen Nakamoto Ramen (蒙古タンメン中本 高田馬場店) is the spiciest bowl of ramen in Tokyo.
I thought this bowl • THE SPICIEST RAMEN in ... was spicier ramen in Tokyo due to the Sichuan pepper, but possibly this bowl was spicier in chili heat.
The flavor was a little too salty, however I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a spice the keeps building as you keep on eating, and half way through your bowl of ramen you realize you might be turning red. The flavor is amazing though. My only regret is only getting noodles and bean sprouts with some pork, I would have liked the egg and some more toppings. But I missed out due to being a little too excited to order my bowl from the vending machine and I was really hungry.
If you love spicy ramen, this is a great restaurant to try when you're in Tokyo. There are multiple locations around Tokyo. I ate at the branch just outside Takodanobaba Train Station.

I’ve received a few comments / questions about how this channel is different from my main channel, so just to clarify. I created this vlogs channel to post more laid back, less edited, more natural videos, and still probably mostly food. On my main channel I only post 2 videos per weeks, so on this channel I’ll be posting meals that I don’t include in main videos, and in a more laid back style. Also, sometimes on my main channel it feels like I’m under pressure to create better and improved content (which is good), however my idea for this channel is to be more relaxed and even experiment with video styles / ideas. Hope this makes sense, and thank you for your support.

I must say, Mark, you're a lucky man because Ying seems like such a patient person. Her perseverance is amazing. Over the years that I've watched you, she's always been patiently walking beside you or behind you and never seems to complain.

Po Lo duuude it's for sure not that easy for Ying, think about it. Maybe she wants to settle down, have a house a stable job and so on, but she chooses to go with Mark out of love and sacrifice :(
i think she knew what she had in store, and perhaps she's also the same type of person as Mark who loves to travel. yes it might be harder with the baby but i think she wouldn't have married him if she didn't love traveling :)

Ever day I watch your videos and it makes me work much harder in school so I can get a good job and save my money to travel to Japan and other places you go to. I got a solution put chili flakes on bland college food and sesame oil for a good aroma or make chili oil with flakes of chilies

Haha! Great point though. I start doubting that any spicy food Mark eats actually is spicy when he says it's not!!! Obviously it IS to the majority but we taste the food through Mark and it's a smoke screen!!

You've been to two of my favorite ramen places in Tokyo. Nakamoto and Kikanbo are on point. Damn dude I've had level 10 at Nakamoto and was dying. You just crushed that bowl like it was nothing.
Yah Joey, glad you love it too. Which one do you think is spicier? For me Kikanbo is much spicier due to the Sichuan pepper, but maybe here is spicier chili?
