I moved to the UK in 2019. I can attest that our Nigerian doctors are very competent. If we can fix the country, people would be flying from every part of the world to access medical care in Nigeria.
In the 70’s, even the Saudi and Emirates princes used to get medical services in UCH in Ibadan. That’s how good Nigeria doctors have always been up-to-date. As they don’t have incentive at home, they moved abroad.
Dr Ojo is an outstanding professional and gentleman. The most impressive thing about him is inspite of his busy schedule he picks and returns calls! Wonderful guy
Wow, I'm inspired sir. I'm a dental nurse and i keep telling people that the best hospitals remains government hospital because they have large number of professionals than privates. Infact, most of them still owns the private hospitals.
This is so interesting and educating.. being in medical field myself can relate and as well learnt from this interview with Dr Omotayo Ojo.. Love the approach to your answers without medical jargons 😀😀. Thank you so much sir, God bless and keep you sir. You are a gift to Nigeria.
I love it when I listen to a positive mind, not all this negative ppl that will never see any good in their own country,They will spend 23hrs in a day demarketing dia own country and yet they don't have any value in them to give the society, negative news is dia food, problems in the society gives them joy to complain and good news makes them feel real sad ...thanks Dr for giving us hope and life....God bless you and our country.
After one year, I'm elated to watch this beautiful content, very educative and inspiring for aspiring medical students. We are proud to have Neurosurgeons like Doctor Ojo.
Thank you Sir, for inspiring us. I actually know someone who died from brain tumor just few weeks ago. Though he had been living with it, for close to a decade, before he was operated on and unfortunately, he didn’t make it. I’m in med school in Nigeria, although, I don’t have interest in Neurosurgery initially, but after watching this video, I might reconsider my choice of specialty. Thank you Dr. Omotayo Ojo. God bless Nigeria.
This is a fresh breath of hope. I just lost a friend and colleague to this last week. My other friend that had a similar issue survived it after many surgeries at John Hopkins. May God continue to protect us from strange diseases.
Given his calm demeanor, intellectual acumen, propensity to handle things that are complex and relate well with things that are technical as if they are simple... I hope the political scenery of Nigeria will someday feature people like him. Dr. Ojo is amicable and thanks for considering him as your guest.
So calm and exquisite. We only need good leaders to put all our resources into good use. We are rich in both natural and human resources. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Thanks for sharing this intelligent information. I think it's time I proceed with with my head investigations since 15 years ago. 🙂 Kia, ignorance is a disease. 😿😿

Honestly I'm super impress with the information Dr Ojo has passed out. information, communication, understanding and God guidance is key. God Bless the work of your hand Dr Ojo.
I absolutely enjoyed and gleaned a lot of information from the Neuro - Surgeon and this entire episode. Thank sir, thank you Tope and thank you everyone...
I forget alot and and my headache is just so much but it's stops when i take pain killers. Although when i was in secondary school I fell from my bed (up bunk ) and since then things has not been they same i really want to go to the hospital but my mom won't let me she says is nothing serious I REALLY NEED HELP
I live in UK and was diagnosed with Brain tumour in 1990 similar to what was described by the other guy. I was seriously advised not to attempt relocating back to Nigeria even now because of lack of Nero medical care. Is it true?
Not true: I was of that view until I came across this wonderful, considerate and kind-hearted young man, Dr.Ojo. God will continue to increase your knowledge and enlarge your coast.
The symptoms of a seizure can vary depending on the type but may include a loss of consciousness, stiffening of the limbs, or jerking movements of the limbs. Having two or more seizures at least 24 hours apart that don't have a known cause is considered to be epilepsy. You can read more via Google to understand better.
MY DAUGHTER HAS A BRAIN TUMOR AND IT STARTED WITH HEADACHES THEN SEIZURES THEN VISION ISSUES WE BEGGED THE DR. TO DO TESTS FOR A YEAR BUT HE JUST IGNORED US AND DOWNPLAYED OUR HEALTH. MY DAUGHTER WENT TO THE E.R. AND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A ALMOST 5CM PITUITARY BRAIN TUMOR AND IS NOW BLIND IN ONE EYE WITH SOME TUMOR LEFT WRAPPED AROUND THE ARTERY.
So sorry to hear that. U have heard of some some doctors take things with levity or trivialise issues. When you meet such just go to another doctor that will attend to you well because at the end of the day it is the patient that will bear the consequences. I pray Jesus intervenes in your daughter's health.
I really will not want to mention names and hospital I have seen cases were nepa took light with someone skull open during neuro surgery God help us in Nigeria
At least ask me "are you insane?" That way I can say yes or no 😌. To answer your question, it's not the only thing I picked up but it was a subtle thing I picked on how our society is so patriarchal. However, there was no reason for you to insult someone you don't know off or online. And the way people find it so easy to throw insultsat people is another thing I have picked up that is wrong with our society.
So until someone types the entire transcript of the interview (or about it) before THAT ONE will know that that the snippet typed isn't the only thing picked? 😂 Well, we can see who's actually insane
I love this man's demeanor. So calm and collected, intuitive and knowledgeable!
And that’s how he is physically even while operating. He is a sweet soul
