- 3 Tips Badminton net shot tutorial, on how to get more spin on your shots. To get more spin is really important in badminton net shots, as the shuttle can be more tricky to return. Use these super cool 3 tips to get more spin and learn the bio-mechanics of the shuttle, which is very important in order for you to master the net shots with spin.😃
It can be very tricky to know what type of direction to hit and to add the spin, but let me try to walk you through this in this video. The same goes for all you left handed players, so the angles I show in the video, is the same as for left handed😎

Hi from Durham, NC USA. I learned from Danish coaches and enjoy the technical exploration with the focus on a fun way to practice. Table tennis is very much about spin while in badminton kids need to understand pronation and footwork first but the gesture, under the shuttle and "comma" shape is very helpful. It fits in well as I try to help kids move form square stance and straight line swings to loose grip and rotation. Thanks for your great channel!
Love your channel and jealous of your courts haha!! Could you please do a video on the attack drives? I can never figure out how to hit the attack drive without using a very big swing, especially on the forehand side
Thanks for the informative video Thomas.
Looking forward to getting back to playing badminton.
Thanks Simon👌🏻 Yes the indoor facilities just opened today in Denmark💪🏻
thank you for the tips, this really helped me in practicing netting tips so that I could correct my mistakes in netting. You are very good at doing that netting. I admire that ... thank you also for this channel, because this channel gives shows that for me personally are very useful and help me in practicing. thank you very much🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤❤
So great to hear👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Yep that is correct, thanks for watching our videos👌🏻👏🏻
Best coach sir!
Thank you👌🏻
Best caoch 🤘🤘👍👍
Famly ftw.
Great video! :) Aren't you spinning "with" the natural rotation of the shuttle at 3:07 though? From your point of view - with the tip of the shuttle coming towards you - the shuttle is rotating clockwise and with slicing from right to left, you add to the natural spin of the shuttlecock. At 3:28 you do the same on the backhand side (slicing clockwise from your point of view).
Uhhh it is so tricky this part, I can see you get confused, but I still think i´m right, When adding the spin from right to left i change the rotation from counter-clockwise to clockwise. Try taking a shuttle in your hand and rotate it around naturally and then take your racket and add the spin and see that your shuttle rotation will change 😆 Really tricky but what do all you rest say, am i right or wrong?
@@BadmintonFamly Really difficult to wrap my head around, but shouldn't an out to in shot from the forehand generate the same spin as an in to out on the backhand?
Nice
Re the shuttle rotation: your animation at 2.40 shows anti-clockwise spin viewed from the skirt end. That means the shuttle is spinning clockwise when viewed from the cork end. Since the cork end is what you see when the shuttle is coming towards you, a right to left slice adds spin in the same direction and a left to right slice is counter to the natural spin.
Please give me racket
Good badminton teaching!
Thanks🤩
Reaching early will play a pivotal role in playing these shots, can trick the opponent more in that way 🙏❤️ Nice video coach👍👍That bio-mechanics portion of the video was truly amazing 🌞🌞
Great to hear, it was very tricky to try to learn you all in simple ways in the video, but nice to hear it worked out😎
@@BadmintonFamly It really did ❤️❤️ will try when our court gets opened, 1-2 more months to wait 😇🤤
first good video
best video for spin
Great to hear, thanks for watching🤩
Love from India ♥♥
Thanks from Denmark 🇩🇰
Great video! Loved it ! Just a minor semantic observation: Shouldn't it just be mechanics rather than bio-mechanics of a shuttle ?
I love playing badminton 🏸
I live in Russia

Hi please tell me how to play against the spin..there is no video like that..can you upload
At the end im spinning on spin a bit, but yes maybe a future topic👌🏻
Beautiful techniques Sir.
Can we make the contact point at any height or not below the height of the net?
Please teach us
You can do it a bit under the net, but more tricky because you need to hit the shuttle from below and up to get the spin going😀
@@BadmintonFamly thanks Sir
which rackets are best ?
made in japan or made in china
from my perspective made in japan
please telll
Made in japan
Must we move over hand up the grip
Just hold a normal forhand grip💪🏻
Sir plz can you make a video on cross net shot from both fore hand and back hand 🙏🙏
We have the cross forehand on our channel and the backhand version is coming soon😉
My forehand spinning net shots tend to bounce too high as well. Nice to know I’m not alone.
Every one forehand netshot was like that but some need little practice and some more.. that is only difference.. keep practicing. .. keep thinking about it the whole day even when youare not playing..you will get the knack some day... that is how everyone learnt it...
WHAT IS THE AGE WHEN YOU HSVE STARTED PLAYING BADMINTON LIN DAN 2
lol
What racket are u using? Nanoflare?
Yeps Nanoflare 800👌🏻
@@BadmintonFamly nice!
Don’t quite get the tip at 3:12: Spin away from natural rotation.
The earlier diagram shows natural rotation to be counter clockwise when viewed from the rear of the shuttle. This means when the shuttle is approaching, it’s actually rotating clockwise, viewing from the front of the shuttle.
I am confused because you advice to spin away, meaning I am to spin it clockwise. This clockwise refers from my point of the player. Wouldn’t that be actually spinning in the same direction as the natural rotation?
I actually think you are correct and I made an small error in the video, it is SO tricky about the spin, sorry for that 🙏
Is this vey difficult
Dying to play again! :/
Oh yes let´s get back on court soon...
Did u participate in senior world championships?
No i have not, maybe in the future who knows🤪
what racket is he using???🥺
Might be late but that’s the og nanoflare 800
Since the balls are not around.. i never think that more spin is important coz the balls already have its natural spin. lee chong wei please help us
