Hmmm, I am a big fan, but what's that? Pop? Not bad, but I miss the fascination of the older stuff.
I loved this song when I first heard it, but then she performed it on a US news channel and said it was about her children. Sorry, but the power of the song was lost for me then. It had seemed to be about a lovely stranger who had turned her life around, a gorgeous man.

This is a great song, but it has a low production quality that can be interpreted as an independent artist or low budget and not in a good way.
Your voice is wonderful, hopefully a quality producer will work with you on a future project.

I agree. One song I can take, but I do hope it isn't typical of the new album. I much prefer her folky/Gospel/blues/traditional music.
Have loved your work for years and you are by far my favourite female singer. But this song has not impressed me, a little too 'pop' for me
