I wasn't expecting Eren to be very emotional, but I do remember how emotional he was back when he was 15 (and he didn't even get to grow up normally), so it's understandable.
The fandome thaught that he's a monster and can kill everyone without regreting .. but they forgot that he's a human .. who wants to protect his friends and doesn't want to die .. he was suffering all this time alone .. he's a human and feels as everyone feels ..

Usually Kaji is composed, comprehensive, and even wordy when he does these Q&A things. To see him flustered and struggling with being coherent with these now makes it feel sorta gut-wrenching to hear. Ngl im worried about actors whose long-time roles come to an end haha!
For those who don't understand why Kaji is struggling so much, he's up to date with the manga (I mean everyone is but is an an obligation for him to read) and let's say he's been holding this desire to talk with his fellow seiyuu and friends about the true Eren shown on 139. As an Even fan, I get him, is hard having to stand the people that misunderstand him, previously he enjoyed talking about how emotional Eren gets on some scenes (for example we have the traitor scene were Kaji cries on radio) and not being able to do that this season because anything he says is spoiler is a struggle.
It felt like Kaji yuki and Ishikawa Yui almost cried same as me, they know that there r really not much these kinda scenes anymore the future holds pain and suffering for everyone characters in AOT, the voice actors and also us the viewers. All we will have is pain.
