I love the molds as you can cater them to any colour you want to wear...I used mine yesterday for my current set. Also a thin rubber topcoat helps with flexibility and you only need to put a thin line down to join the hearts...use it as if your top coat was a peice of striping tape...that way you don't have all the extra topcoat around the hearts making it hard to shape to your nail.💛💛
Thank you for showing the molds! I would love to see how you use a wider more integrate design. I got a few of their molds and tried to use one of the mandala designs. It was a disaster! Unfortunately, I stupidly did not practice first and did it on my nails, then I had to file it all off! How annoying! 😂 using foil gel is genius!
Me too Aggie, I’ve received moulds as part of a kit but never had a clue how to use them! Now I reckon I can have a go thanks to you 😊 thank you from Australia xx
Having worked with silicone molds and resin for years, you must prep your mold before use and store it properly. To prep it' wash it with a bit of washing up liquid & water then pat it dry with a lint free cloth. Run a lint roller over your work area to pick up dust & fuzzies then use your mold. After use, use clear packing tape or a lint roller to remove any gel residue and store the mold in a ziploc bag or closed container to keep it from gathering dust and dirt.
I really like the Maillard stones you can get now! You won’t like them being all shades of browns etc. I’ve bought some truly beautiful rhinestones though in this type thanks Aggie 🇦🇺❤️
I think your hearts turned out great 😮. Just love them. And the teal chrome is beautiful 🤩. So good to hear your voice and see your video Aggie. I always look forward to seeing them🌺🌺
Woohoo another Aggie video! I'm the same way! I don't like the oranges and browns of fall colors, BUT if you Google "fall colors" there are also some deep purples that are considered fall colors! The only thing I like about this time of year is the Halloween nails I can make! I've already made a black and purple press on set with spiderwebs and spider charms💜 🕷💜
I got the sweater one right after you showed it in whatever box you got it in and until now I had forgotten about it..... And I've been trying to decide what nails I wanted to do for Fall and now I've got an idea... Thanks for reminding me I have this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aggie….wahooo, it’s Lou here. I’m here coz of you and I’m loving it. I’d love to be followed by you but you must have sooooooo many wonderful nail ladies n gents to follow. Big up the pink Aggie, I do agree tbf. I’m about to order some molds, you do fab wool hats n stuff without needing them 😉❤❤Tysmfs xx
Thanks for showing how to use the nail molds, I've only seen the promo videos selling them - and of course its done at lightning speed, and it works perfect. Granted they never show all the steps or have any troubles. So again, I really appreciate you showing what it is like to work with them. I do look forward to a video of nails made with these molds. 😊
I LOVE the way you get excited when you figure it out. LOL That is SOOOO me being as tho I'm a creative. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your channel! Sorry I’m tardy for the party lol You’re amazing, your work is beautiful, and you just seem so homely and genuine🌸 Thanks again for showing us ALL the correct and best ways to get it done.
Great tip I find the moulds can be real tricky with gel or if you try to use PolyGel and clay it can be hard to get out cleanly. It definitely takes some playing with to work it all out ❤
@@MammaCass I use the matte coat from essence, good and cheap for it... I also had to think about the best way to do it! Since it becomes very thin, you have to be careful not to tear it, but on the nail the edges merge with the sticky layer!
@@MammaCass for my winter nails I used the snowflake silicone mold Because the normal matte nail polish is so thin and flexible, the snowflakes nestled perfectly against the curve of the nail... but everyone probably has to find their own technique! I have two new christmas silicone molds (with gingerbread men, reindeer, candy canes, etc.) and the ones from the video... I'm looking forward to being able to use them
With the hearts, would using a thin foil gel on the mould help, because it's very sticky it may lay flatter. Love this box, though. It's right up my street. Thanks for showing it to us.
Hi Aggie!! Hope you are doing well.. Just wanted to say that I LOVE THESE LONGER VIDEOS!!! I love all your videos but I hate that they have to end.. Lol. I dont think ive ever seen anybody slap on a set of nails and decorate them as fast as you and actually have then turn out so beautiful.. 😂😂 I also have a question.. In your opinion, what is the best beginner friendly polygel? Like the least sticky and easy to work with?
Because I’m a hooligan when it comes too nails I found the best way to make the molds stick was to use a think layer of either base gel or gem gel and really squish them down removing any excess with a clean up brush. I just found when actually wearing the molds no matter how careful I was they tore off otherwise so I just started treating them like gems (except I topcoat over them.
Well, I don't care for the fall colors or nails much either 😂. We had such hot weather until yesterday, so it's technically still summer here. But, everyone pushes the season's. I'm so glad you did the sweater molds. I have to get one of those. The Chrome's were stunning! I have some of the little liquor bottles & they are small 😂. I did like the colors. You have enough leaves to throw all over the house LOL. Thanks as always ❤
love the haul fyi you can also make my own moulds i got 2 part silicone putty and mae mould af all my fav charms ,as it hurts my ikkle black heart when i cant get certain charms again so now i can make a mould and do them in any colour i want saves the pennies for other nail stuffs ..obv lol much love from bonny wee Scotland x
With the molds Aggie, put a layer of clear gel in them, scrape and cure and leave them in the mold. Then put basecoat on the nail and with the hearts still in the mold put the whole mold onto the nail and cure with a lamp on top of the mold - then after it's had a full cure you paint it with your colour on the nail ♥Xx
I completely agree about the fall colors so I add in Halloween colors. Dark magenta, blues, look at the colors people use for sweaters. Dark greens, I like sage, olive, and then if pink or something would look good then I throw it in. 😅 ooh I did not mention yellows! So there you have my color line up for fall.... Along with your basic black white greys....... The moulds, I love them! Varnail uses a brush on their thin molds and a very thin liner brush to add in color. I'd only use it if the brush didn't do the job. Then I think I'd just use the brush again, like a flat brush. I love your videos! I'm moving to CA the end of this month but I'm going to try and jump in when I can. ❤😊
Hi Aggie! You're my favorite! I wish they would make a box without charms, maybe with more decals and gel art items instead for people like me that hates anything raised on their nails.

I made the mistake of starting shorts when they first came out and whilst it does gain subs they never watch again! So now I’m stuck in algorithm hell. I have 16k subs but lucky to get 30 views on a longer video. So frustrating when I love putting in the work on the longer vids. Keep going! I’ve been watching a little while and you definitely have it down to be successful xx
awesome, thank you for demoing the mold, can't wait to try it now. When you cured the 2 in 1 top coat for chrome nails was that a full or partial cure?
Thank you for showing us how to do the sweater mold that was Very Helpful 💓

Sounds great!
Also I’ve got this box and I like to see how other creatives use the items in the box 😊
Those are some pretty cool molds for the sweater weather designs I really like that
Aggie, get a torch light with a silicone top, they hold things down on the nail flat, while curing at the same time.

I use a regulare matte/shiny clear polish (not a gel one) for the silicone mold, the layer is super thin... perfect to apply on the nail!
