Kat I got some intel from my post office guy that is not public knowledge yet. BIG increases coming mid July. He said almost $2 increases on ground and priority. Also stamps are going up to 75 cents and international $3. Take it for what it’s worth but just thought people might appreciate a heads up…
They have been going up significantly over the past year unfortunately. For 4 oz from me to cali is $9 which is sooo crazy. Sucks but not anything we can do about it :(

Hopefully you don't have any issues with mercari's new TOS with the categories you sell. I just shut down my mercari as I got immediately hit with returns and a swap out.

I have done it both ways but we show work tape measure so they can see where measurements were taken
Hey Kat...new to watching. I noticed your items all show on sale. Is that standard when listing? Many items sold less than a month so it lead me to believe this is part of marketing vs turning older product.
Yes it is my business strategy everything is priced up on day 1 but on sale 35% so it ends up what I want to sell it for my sale runs continuously but only 3 days at a time then off for 3 hours and back on
Hi. Just wondering if you have Goodwill’s in your area and if you shop there and do you have a Goodwill bin location?
I do about a hour away on both. I don't go to them very often though as prices are high at the retail store. The bins I just haven't been in a long time as they closed for covid and opened back up just recently

Have you dealt with an eBay buyer that you had to refund because it broke during shipment... Florida to California. How do you deal with eating the cost? And they crazy customer? I could really use advice.
File a claim with the post office
I would ask for photos of the box. If the box is not damaged significantly it was probably poor packing and then I would cover it and learn. If they show proof is broke with damaged box I would file a claim if box isn't damaged is out of my pocket

@@TheNurseFlipper that's the thing...I gave a full refund because eBay said it was on me but all the buyer would show me is a broken plate and a piece of bubble wrap. I tried disputing it and eBay said she showed enough proof. When I tried asking the buyer for more photos she got irate and told me it was my fault for awful packaging. It was a nightmare! I learned how eBay works though 😂
@@dancesquad9455 Did you file the pictures along with a claim with the post office? If you mailed it w/ ground advantage there is $100 insurance. I shipped an item (and yes, it was me, before I knew how to ship breakables properly) which arrived in pieces. It took 5 days to get to the buyer, she sent me pictures, and I filed the claim with pictures of the broken pieces. 2 DAYS LATER I HAD A CHECK FROM THE POST OFFICE, no questions! Kudos to the USPS.

On the Yamaha, eBay probably sent a lower price of the same item after they checked out. So they never wanted it after they got the cheaper one.
