You are just being biased for petrol engine just because you bought the petrol one. For DEF in fortuner you are saying that it need to be changed in 2500km, you took this from vikas dayal vlog but this is not the case for every diesel engine. And everyone knows the fun about diesel. I own a petrol nexon and now buying another scorpio N in diesel. So just stop justifying buying petrol engine, it depends upon person to person according to their use.

Kisi ko agar 20 lakh scorpio n par invest karne hai to, bhai z8 select petrol manual variant lo. Sabse mst variant hai, aur baaki life bhi 15 saal milgi. 5 saal extra diesel se, bht hote hai extra ke 5 saal bhi, or power aur refinery bhi bht mst hogi petrol ki, z8 select petrol manual best😎

I got delivery of my Scorpio N Petrol Z8L AT in Feb'23. I live in Delhi and Himachal both places and have been driving the SUV in Himachal since purchase and on hilly areas it is giving me 8-9 KMPL average I think that is good. Haven't driven on the highway yet but will be soon and will share the average details as well.

I have been driving my Scorpio N Diesel Z8L 2WD, my car consumed 50% DEF in 10,000 Kms so 10 litres for 10K kms. The DEF tank has 20 litres capacity so can run for 20,000 kms. Don’t listen to new buyers they are less experienced on how their car is performing.

have booked a z6 diesel but thinking in terms of changing to z4 petrol. will going for z4 petrol automatic be better performance and mileage wise , as compared to petrol manual z4
there is no point in buying petrol SUV.
Reason
1. extremely low resale value.
2.Petrol variant is only 50k cheaper than Diesel.
3. Petrol mileage is Manual 6-7 kmpl and Auto- 5-6 kmpl...Which is impractical in NCR.
4. No power modes in petrol.
5. Diesel engine is the flagship engine from Mahindra
Fact very less people keep there cars for 15 years..
Dont get carried away by this fact of Petrol... Go for Diesel.
Mahindra is known for their Diesel vehicles.

DPF k issue ki wajah se diesel Scorpio lene ki himmat nahi ho rahi.. meri daily running to bohot kam hai par har dusre mahine long highway running hoti hai.. petrol ki milage bohot kam hai aur diesel main DPF wali problem hai ki agar har din chalana padega nahi to car band pad jayegi aur regen karna padega.. bohot zyada confused hu.. petrol achi lagi chalane main but mileage bohot kam hai.. 6-7 or even 8 is too low.. atleast consistently 10+ mileage hoti to acha rehta😪..

Been driving a toyota diesel etios for sometime. Even if you run 10KM or 500 KM car feels same, buy the car which you like diesel or petrol.
