Most people have no concept of self-preservation. He pulls up in parks on the train tracks and sees a train coming so it takes his time to turn the bike around and then it's too late. That bike probably meant a lot to him too.

I don't understand what's wrong with these people. My grandfather made it clear you stay well back from the tracks even if there's no train (not if you think there's no train) and whe😢 clear go straight through, no hanging around. It was pretty simple to understand at 5 years old.
