As a civil engineer. Slope land with good soil condition and good view is a nice perfect location for a Residential house. AND EXPENSIVE. Luxury subdivision lot are mostly high price if the location have a like cinematography views. Which mostly can be acquired in SLOPE land.
Make sure your building/house is structurally will done both in the design and in construction. For safety reasons.
I believe you're already a permanent resident of the Philippines right? I think you're now entitled to buy a property.. well anyway.. I believe you know what you are doing and I would just like to congratulate you on you're very good decision.. good job. Agree with sherlyn, infinity pool is good on slope part of the land. With apo island and siquijor as view point. And maybe with clear sky, star gazers at night.

Nice view from your land you will have a very nice place there someday. The moon and all the stars, what a beautiful site that was. I have a friend in Manila who got the Pfizer vaccine in the mall. Pfizer and Moderna are the best vaccines. I had the Pfizer last January and my 92 yr old father had the Moderna in March, neither of us had any side effects. Great idea to have an assayer out to mark the property lines then you don't have any problems with your neighbors in the future. I usually run a fence around my entire property once the assay is done. Good luck with your new venture and becoming a property owner. You can only have one story above ground, but you can have a basement under that first story that can connect to the other building you want to build at the lower level. Dude your dreams are mine as well , after visiting Philippines back in 2011 I’ve been back 8 times and I spend most of our Canadian cold winters down in Mindanao.
With all that’s happened in the last 18 months it’s been a nightmare, but it’s nice to know it’s coming to an end. My wife is from Lanoe Del Norte..in the Bukidnon region we are looking to purchase land , it’s nice same sort of scenery as your new lot , except very high up and cool.
I know Brett and Kyle made a video travelling through that region temperatures in the day time around + 20 and just an hour away in CDO it could be +35 at sea level.

Suggestion: Plant trees near the slope and around your property to avoid erosion & landslide accident during strong rain. Common accident on such kind of land, happened to baguio before, they cut the pine trees and replaced with houses result was landslide and death to many. Trees' roots will protect your house from flood and soil erosion....
I agree. Please plant trees. You can start with Mahogany. They're easy to come by. Find one mahogany tree and there'll be lots of little ones around. Plus, it will help cool the area during warm summer days.

good point, i guess something that has big roots would be best perhaps.
Make sure you build sturdy because with great breezes and wind - when typhoons hit your house needs to withstand the beating!

omg.. how super exciting!! been following you gyuys and am just stoked with your journey....having this land i am so happy for you....suugestion... since ypou arte. elevated with a slope.... have your main house liojke a step down and use that ground for th ewalls and foundation and if you want a "tower" ,...build a lookout room/work area... (you can serve as a forest fire "ranger" for fires etc and serve the community to alert if ever....the elevated view in a tower will be a solace and a guest room of sorts too.....just imagining ...for you guys lol....see! am beaming with pride and happiness from your blessings!.. stay blessed, humble and kind always....MAY..GOD PROTECT you in yopur adventures and generous endeavors...always

Plant BAMBOOS on the slopes specially around the perimeter. BAMBOOS are known to hold soil and avoid erosion. Observe river banks with bamboos, water along the river can not eat the earth on it
