Question does the phone needs to be connected to wifi because mine isn't its a XR. The screen was broken, so it kept pressing off until it died. Replaced the screen now its saying unresponsive.

mine becomes like that when I listen to music n walk fast. It prolly goes to that bc of the motion itself or the motion causing incorrect passwords bc it wants to b unlocked bc im listening to music. Thanks
sounds like the motion woke the screen then it would try and unlock

you need to get the phone on to recovery mode, then connect to the pc

Once in recovery mode, the pc and phone still do not talk to each other. I just need the restore screen to pop up on the pc.

so what if it doesnt have an apple id @ 8:58 or you dont want to use the id anymore
