I’ve got a Pandora type charm on the front of my TN. I’ve been moving between notebooks for years, never actually liking what I was using. Invariably after a few pages I’d start something else in the notebook so then everything got jumbled up, which isn’t something I like to see. I tried my Filofax again, which is ok, but I find it difficult to write in some of the pages because of the rings, so that’s now for lists for my trips out in summer, what to remember to pack, or what I have to restock my van with cos I camp in that. Also yearly expenses to keep track of the cost of living etc and that works well. Then I discovered the TNs, and it’s all become so easy. A notebook for a yearly planner, one for notes etc. I certainly won’t be moving to any other system now 😀
Recently I have sewed a few patches on a TN with my sewing machine. It was crying during the process 😂 But worked really well, they are attached quite safely. Next time, if you want to try out placement on a TN, you can use a strip of washi that’s folded in on itself to attach a patch temporarily. Especially useful if you want to sew it on, as it won’t move as much. It takes a bit of colour off the TN but nothing that a bit of conditioner won’t fix if you want to place it on a different area. Most of the time our first instinct is the best though and I love that you just went for it! Thanks for sharing your process, I love watching these videos 💌
Thanks so much! It’s my pleasure. I have been so busy lately that I haven’t had a chance to film for a couple of weeks. Hopefully this weekend. Thank you for the advice, great idea. I think you’re right, it’s great to go by instinct! 💕
I love the pink and other happy colors! It brings me joy just looking at it. Minimalism isn’t for everyone. And you didn’t put very much on there quantity wise, so I think we can call it Minimalist Cute style.
These are so sweet Des. Hope you are doing well. I couldn't tell you how many planners and notebooks I have right now. I am anxious to see if your patch stays.
Thanks so much 💕 It looks pretty well attached but yes me too - keen to see how it goes. I’m doing ok, pain as usual, particularly legs and hips. But otherwise, I’m ok. How about you? ❤️
Love this Desley, glad you put those patches on its so adorable. I would love to see a look at your cousin Hobonichi. I love planner set ups too, l really need to post more photos on Insta, l have been in extreme pain with fibromyalgia, l can hardly walk, feels like my legs are tree stumps 😢 anyway have a great week ❤ Tash
Oh Tash I’m sorry you are in so much pain. I’m having a really rough time of it too. It’s my legs for me as well. The pain is really bad, even with all the meds. Sending love 💕❤️💕

That’s excellent. I’m so glad you found your system!
I’m enjoying a combination of Hobonichi and TN, just for different uses. ☺️
Love watching the whole process!!! And am in love with the 'whatever' for the charm!!!!
Oh thanks so much Denise ❤️ that charm is just my vibe and I don’t wear the bracelet very often. The idea just came to me at the end of the video 💕
I love your choice of stickers, washi and charms! Your videos are so fun 😊
Thanks so much Marisa ❤️
