Hi Marina ! I love your videos and I' ve learnt so many things . I've read somewhere the idiom "white collar crime " and after watching this video I can finally understand what does this idiom mean. This video really came in handy. Keep up the good work! p.s. I 'll take a wild guess and say you are in Miami. Did I get that right ?
I am the twelvth viewer of this video 😄, but the first comment here is mine. Marina, you are my favourite English teacher. I have learnt a lot from you !Thank you so much ! By the way ,can any one here say from my English what country I am from ?
Thanks for the incredible video, I definitely appreciate it with all my heart. Unluckyly I know some idioms, but they're actually British. Thanks for the American ones. White elephant is an interesting idiom. White lie is a useful idiom. Ful plate is a funny one like I have a lot in my plate.😊 Some more idioms, poul yourself together is an everyday one.😊
Hi there Marina, from Colombia. It's funny the first phrase, because here in my country "white elephant" is the phrase we use when the government invests on the construction of a hospital or clinic or even public parks but they're never finished. So when the new governor comes, he/she doesn't even try to finish that hospital/clinic or park and it cost a lot of money. So, in one way, the phrase "white elephant" is quite similiar here and there.

Lingumarina channel is one of the towering around the world

❤❤ greetings from Spain
Hi there Marina, from Colombia. It's funny the first phrase, because here in my country "white elephant" is the phrase we use when the government invests on the construction of a hospital or clinic or even public parks but they're never finished. So when the new governor comes, he/she doesn't even try to finish that hospital/clinic or park and it cost a lot of money. So, in one way, the phrase "white elephant" is quite similiar here and there.
Thank you! 🤗🖤 Subscribed and will share with friends.
