When you are talking about the words "Less VS fewer" in the final of the phrase about people at grocery store, did you say "yesterday" (how it is in the legend)? or did you say "today" (that was what i listened)?

I am a grammar teacher, so there are so many things that I could comment on, but I will choose just one. 'Pick' and 'pick up' is a tricky pair because a lot of my students say that they 'pick up cherries,' but we should say 'pick cherries.' For example, "In the summer, I love to go to local farms to pick strawberries.' 😀

lol as an English speaker (who has had just a couple years of French).. I hope no one would give a bilingual speaker a hard time for these examples. I hate people stress about stuff like this. You’re a great teacher
You are right. I think it's easy to be nervous as a non-native speaker, but most English speakers are very understanding of grammatical errors when it comes to non-native speakers. Truthfully, a lot of English speakers make mistakes, as I'm sure a lot of non-native speakers of your language do as well.

"I will cook for myself" sounds to me as if the subject will be preparing food exclusively for himself or herself, not for the other party who wanted to go out to eat. In that situation, I would say, "I'd rather cook at home".

Oooooh you got me on these examples with avoided subject from the sentence. I thought I was skiping repeatition of "I"... So what is the way to skip multiple "I" so the sentences sound more flowly? Please help!!! Great video, as always!🌷
