Music used to be my everything till I fell in such a deep depression, and the most horrific thing happened....Music stopped for me, it didn't mean anything to me anymore, the words and melody and beats just passed me by like a zombie trapped in her tomb....And then LP happened and I felt myself breathing air again and hearing once more the words of poetry making my weak heart beat again. There are not too many artists that can sound Better if not the same as a recorded session. The range in her voice is phenomenal. She not only sings the song but feels it. Watch how she walks away from the mic, for a fade effect. This video/LIVE session is outstanding. You do not get enough credit LP.
Couldn't agree more, I was blown away when I first stumbled upon this song! First version I heard was a recording, but this live version is way better, that very rarely happens anymore.

No autotune, pure talent, good lyrics with meaning, real instruments. Music as it's supposed to be. Not to mention this is a live version. Hands down LP is a legend of the music world
For me listening to LP is like walking into a small room lit with candles and being given a space to acknowledge and process feelings of sadness, heartbreak and loneliness but not feeling alone as you go through it. She's so authentic, so deep, so real. Finding her music has been incredibly healing and enjoyable for me. Will be a lifelong fan for sure.
