Thank you for making this video you guys. San Miguel is my hometown, I was even baptized in la parroquia de San Miguel arcángel, and I have been away for twenty years. I always tell my husband about the processions, and the buildings, and the beautiful culture but being able to show him a video like this...all I can say is thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Thank you for being so respectful and kind. I felt like I was six years old again, walking with the procession, remembering streets that I didn't even know I had forgotten. Words fail to describe just how touching this is to me, all I can truly say is, thank you again.

Thank you very much for sharing this during the Most Holy Week of the Christian Year. What a beautiful procession. The Mexican people certainly have a long tradition of being people of faith.

I am delighted at your efforts in sharing with people your travels through Mexico. You do a great job. I did want to mention a couple of things about Semana Sancta in Puerto Vallarta. It is very true that PV as a beach town fills with Mexican students and Mexican families who use this week as a time to come to the beach and have one huge party. That said PV does have its religious observations that the local folks, both Mexican and non-Mexican observe. On the Saturday before Palm Sunday as well as on Palm Sunday the sale of the various items made out of palm branches and decorated in various fashions is done here as well. Some of them are more simple woven palm items while others are far more intricate with images of various saints, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph on them. They are offered for sale in from of the church downtown. Likewise in my neighborhood, there is a similar procession of the Stations of the Cross done yearly. For the past couple years it has included live actors portraying the various characters from the accounts in the Bible. It passes directly in front of my house each year. Having been raised in a Jewish household, it was not until I came to Mexico that I really confronted this level of observance. My family obviously did not observe Easter and were usually more involved in preparations for and the observance of Passover. It has been quite an education for me to observe how deeply many people here hold to the religious aspects of their culture. San Miguel certainly does an impressive procession and I watched the video and enjoyed it immensely. It is always instructive to see how the day is observed in other parts of the country. Again, I deeply appreciate your efforts to present Mexico to the outside world in the manner you do. Keep up the great work.

Semana Santa un San Miguel is nice and full of tradition. I recommend Procesión del Silencio en San Luis Potosí on Viernes Santo (Good Friday). I took my daughter there last year and we both loved it. You can make reservations to get a good seat and enjoy de beautiful procession.

Guys you should have stayed at Puebla, the procession is very visual, very well organized. The images go out from the most iconic churches of the city, congregate at the Cathedral and go around the city center. They are so big, some need more than 20 people to carry them ( plus replacement teams, my kid was very impressed, seeing the change of teams) Puebla's procession is not silent, there are drums, matracas and funeral marches.
