How cool was that to meet people that thank you for making them discover Mexico. Happy Easter!!!
It's all about family with Latinos, I live in Chula Vista CA, a few miles from the border, my family's kids were looking for Easter eggs in the backyard, the music was loud, the carne asada and tripitas were on the barbeque. On the long table there were 5 types of salsas, fresh, tomatillo, red, habanero and a milder one for the scary cats and of course a full large container of guacamole. Fish lovers enjoyed the ceviche tostadas that my niece made. The cervezas were muy frias and the tequila was abundant, it was just great day with family.

"The Mexican people love me so much they even made a statue of me. Huge, huge statue, very colorful. They had to use paper to made it, they don't have the budget for statues we have, the biggest budget of the world. They put me in a high place, very high, so people can apreciate me from all angles, there are angles people can appreciate me from most statues don't have. Huge crowd gather around my statue, lot of noice, the event was amazing. When it finished everyone wanted to take a piece of me as a souvenir. Huge huge success."
i remember the " sabado de gloria " which consisted of everyone throwing buckets of water at each other from the morning till noon and after that it was the get together with the family and eat while watching religious movies that were on through out the day. great videos by the way, keep up the good work

That's just Holy Week in San Miguel that each city celebrates in a different way. I am from Chihuahua and Easter is going to church (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Saturday of glory and Sunday Resurrection) after the Sunday mass to the roasted carnitas and to look for eggs and to crash them in the head of all the confetti or flour and also to give baskets with plastic eggs with candy etc.
That was the most unique, exciting, entertaining thing I have ever seen in my life. Great video, you guys are awesome. Keep up the good work, greetings from Minnesota ❤

I loved the explosions, Mexican's always go above and beyond celebrating holidays. I remember the same as Hillary for Easter as a child, but I also went to church and knew what it was really about, I hope that you two continue to do your video's. When I was a kid, my mother always made Easter dresses for my sister and me. Yes, those big ruffled dresses that are still popular for little Mexican girls. They’re really scratchy and uncomfortable to wear. The goal she had for me each year was to not have skinned knees for Easter to ruin the look. I was a tomboy. Photos in the yard then on to church where we had to sit through the service with those scratchy dresses on. Prayers that I could change clothes quickly!
